Or maybe the griz soften up ISU for the Cats?RickRund wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 4:50 pmYep, I think they only had 122 yards rushing. The Butcher wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 4:38 pmSo how did the griz have such a hard time against a below average ISU?

Cats dominate ISU. Gris barely get by ISU. Cats dominate #13 NAU on the road. Gris have a tough time with Cal Poly at home. Gris win against Idaho does not look good as Idaho struggles with UNC today. Is there any question that MSU should be ranked higher than UM? It will be decided on the field in a couple of weeks, but the eye test is clearly in favor of the Cats. The Butcher wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 4:38 pmSo how did the griz have such a hard time against a below average ISU?

I don’t want to be ranked ahead of them. I love hearing them talk about how they’re better than us because “We’Re rAnKeD HiGhER!”Cataholic wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 5:39 pmCats dominate ISU. “It WaS jUsT a GoOd mAtChUp fOr MsU”TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 8:06 amThe logic is: if the MSU vs ISU game is close, then UM did match up well with ISU and MSU didn't match up well ISU. So, MSU fans should be rooting for a close game vs ISU or even an ISU win.wbtfg wrote: ↑Thu Oct 09, 2025 11:24 amInteresting that gris fans are posting a lot about how great the ISU QB is, and how he's the best QB that um will see all season long. They are also saying that MSU shouldn't have an issue shutting him down and should beat ISU easily. But yet somehow, UM is still the better team in their eyes.
I'm having a hard time following their logic.![]()
How come we ran for almost 400 yards and UM barely broke 100? Oh yeah, now I remember, “It WaS jUsT a GoOd mAtChUp fOr MsU”

On social media several gris fans are really going overboard with thinking they need to be ranked just below Oregon. Every excuse in the books. I am now the own of several new nicknames.
Well, but your game with Mercyhurst, etc, etc…

I guess we could have played a division II team instead of Oregon. Then we could have also scheduled 8 home games, does anyone else in the conference have 8 home games. Something tells me this is going to be the new norm in Meccaville, schedule 8 homegames and one DII school and then pound there chests about being undefeated.

Oregon was solely for the cash. Everyone knew the Cats would get blown out. Both UM and MSU do that occasionally. The last Big Sky Conference team to beat a ranked FBS team in a money game was the Griz. As for Central Washington, they are a highly ranked program that probably could beat Mercyhurst and San Diego.golden77 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 13, 2025 8:05 pmI guess we could have played a division II team instead of Oregon. I also think the Bobcats could probably beat everyone the Grizzlies have beat

Re: 2025 Griz Hail Mary
The Gris have an all time weak schedule. For Old Gris to pump up Central Washington as a legit opponent is hilarious. They would still be at the bottom end of the FCS.
Looking ahead for the Gris final 6 games, they get Sacred Heart from a very weak conference and play the 3 teams at the bottom of the Big Sky conference in EWU, Weber and PSU - all while getting 8 home games. Even their Idaho win looks weak. What a weak schedule.
