Raiders draft assessment I read the other day described Troy as having "unusual" athletic ability. Site also says Troy would be a dream pick if he's around by pick 86.
This is so fxxxcking cool to see a Montana kid get this attention. I'm from Great Falls and saw the same thing happen to Leaf, but this feels different because Troy actually played for the home team. Mariani was a cool situation too.
Hopefully TA's route to the NFL can and will be used a a recruiting tool for the Cats.

Pleas don't compare him to leaf! I was a season ticket holder for the chargers when he was drafted and after the draft, I had to stand in line an hour to give up my season tickets. 5000 season ticket holders turned them in the first week.FA_Q_M wrote: ↑Sun Apr 24, 2022 7:07 pmRaiders draft assessment I read the other day described Troy as having "unusual" athletic ability. Re: Troy Freaking Andersen!
Yeah I'm not sure why you think it didn't happen. Ticket sales were so bad down there. The city had a contract with the chargers that if they didn't sell 60,000 tickets the city would buy the difference to get to 60000 attendance at face value. Over about 10 years this cost the city $43 million and is a big reason why they didn't get a new stadium. The only reason they had attendance was because the city had to buy them and had to give them away to school students that wanted them and they couldn't even give them away to get to the 60,000 fans in the seats.PapaG wrote: ↑Tue Apr 26, 2022 2:25 amYeah, that never happened.Montanabob wrote: ↑Sun Apr 24, 2022 7:30 pmPleas don't compare him to leaf! We've been working on these all 2022, and in the case of my long form story on Troy, quite honestly since 2017. His talent was undeniable the very first time we ever saw him. Also, appreciate Evan Morris for reaching out and contributing his version of "The world meeting Troy Andersen story."
