Vigen is more stable. If they want a guy that will stay 3+ years he's a good pick. But if they want someone right away they're more likely to grab an FBS coach that doesn't care about the postseason.RockyBearCat wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 9:53 pmWill they take an fcs chance again? At least I don't expect WSU to be any more patient this December than they were last December. Especially with next year's fight for a conference title a little more competitive than it was this year.
Vigen is staying at MSU!

If Bison coach goes Vigen may very well go to NDSU. He played there coached there and from there. It still would be a step in the right direction for bigger and larger things after a year or two. Win a Championship and all will be history.

Another opening... Vigen has little to no chance at the Michigan job, but someone else does, and that means another spot is likely to open up somewhere else. I will say the Davis-Vigen situation looked bad in the public eye, it has nothing on the Michigan coach's situation
Bad look for them. Ohio State fans are having a field day

Coaches in the state of Michigan sure have a tendency to interact inappropriately with staff.BlueAndGoldNation wrote: ↑Wed Dec 10, 2025 5:05 pmAnother opening... I believe Vigen has already had a chance in the past to go to NDSU and turned it down.
