Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
SDSU would need to win at UM and probably Mercer. UM needs to beat SDSU and probably Mercer. USD can definitely beat any of those teams. Could go a number of ways.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
SDSU and not even by a little bit. Buy a lot. Here me out.
I do not wish success or anything that gives the gris additional help or a leg up. Ever. At all. If they continue to win, this means more practice time, more revenue through more home games, and bolsters recruiting. I want none of that for them.
Bring on SDSU... or whomever.

Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
I want SDSU to win this weekend and make all UM fans to have a long dark winter. Plus they need to eat their words about how bad of a loss the cats had against an inferior team that will get lucky to even make the playoffs. It also needs to be clear that MSU football is now and has been for the past decade the better program in the state and them losing out early will make it even more obvious to them (doubtful but hopefully).

Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
Would you rather the griz finish the playoffs 0-1 and get knocked out at home or 2-1? That seems like a pretty easy question to answer.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

I don't want to play the gris again...much rather play the rabbits...I will go agains the common wisdom here and say that I think gris beat the rabbits and will be a handful to play again. I hope the rabbits thump them but not holding my breath...

Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
I think the cats will beat either team in Bozeman. But like Tomcat said it could easily be USD.
I watched the UND vs UM game. The gris pulled it out but I really don't think they were the better team and SDSU is better than UND.. I would lean toward SDSU winning in Missoula unless the gris play as well as they did for Car/Griz which was the best game they played this year. They will need to play their best and get some home cooking to win.

Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
I’d much much rather play um. I’m wayyy more confident that the Cats would beat um than I am about the Jacks.
But I do share similar sentiments as others. I’m fine with the gris losing every game they play by a million. FTG.

Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
I'd really love to destroy UM back in Bozeman, which I have no reason to think would not happen - it would be like the last three times they've come to Bozeman. However, I have a feeling SDSU will beat UM - they are better on both lines and that is incredibly important, and the main reason why the Cats beat them.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Exactly. Regardless I think the griz will overlook Mercer if SDSU doesn't crush their souls...jgrilley406 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 12:56 pmI want SDSU to win this weekend and make all UM fans to have a long dark winter. Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
I would like to see the “fizzlies” fizzle out early in a second round game. Hoping to play them again in Bozeman means allowing them some measure of success in the next two games and this I cannot do. Besides, as other posters have stated, it would be poetic justice to watch them lose to the team they’ve been casting shade on all season.

Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
I think the Cats are VERY capable of beating both. I don't, however, think the gwis make it past this weekend. Their defense is brutally average and big game Bobby will rear his ugly head. The Jacks? They could be a problem, but a lot of folks forget the Cats played a very poor game and only lost to a healthy SDSU by a few inches
well.......we gonna pitch it!

With a makeshift o-line that has drastically improved with the return of Mastel and the ability to play a bunch of games together. We will be fine against them if it comes to that.cat_stache_fever wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 2:08 pmI think the Cats are VERY capable of beating both. A bye helps, but I think montana poured a ton of energy and emotion and physicality into cat griz, and they lost. At home. The balloon was punctured. I just spent the weekend over there and the fan base has not moved on, so you wonder about the tension in the stadium and how the team will react if it doesn't go well early in the game. I think they're in big trouble. Sdsu is all house money at this point, they were dead in the water 2 weeks ago on the outside looking in.

Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
Reminds me of 2 years ago when we lost to the gris and proceeded to lay an egg vs NDSU. So many people that day were shell shocked we lost to the gris. Wouldn't surprise me at all if the gris come out flat against against an SDSU team living on borrowed time.GoldstoneCat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 2:17 pmWith a makeshift o-line that has drastically improved with the return of Mastel and the ability to play a bunch of games together. I thought we played damn good that day against NDSU but maybe I'm misremembering. It was NDSU after all.cat_stache_fever wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 2:26 pmReminds me of 2 years ago when we lost to the gris and proceeded to lay an egg vs NDSU. Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
Tommy had his best game year to date that day. I recall we were really beat up (Chambers especially) going into the game and Tommy ended up being injured and knocked out of the game in the end. If we ended up winning that game, we would have to travel to South Dakota then would have went to dUMb. We were so beat up, I don't think we would have gotten past South Dakota.

Practice time only helps if developing younger players. The transfers they will bring in won't get that benefit.Bobcat Sig wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 12:48 pmSDSU and not even by a little bit. Buy a lot. Here me out.

Re: SDSU or frizzlies?
My thoughts,
I can never cheer or hope for the griz to win a game ever. Unless it specifically helps msu through seeding or winning a title, which isnt the case here.
So what do I want, I want to watch the grizzlies lose, but in the event they win, there would be nothing more satisfying than getting to beat them at home, again this hear.
So my answer, is both basically
