Titan is in incredible shape. He’s 6-4, 300…looks like 260.

We were lucky to get him back this year. I think there were a few FBS schools who tried really hard to get him to transfer. I believe Choate was one of them....

Yeah, Choate has been trying to snag some MSU players for a few years now. I hear Taco, Adam, and Titan were all offered by FBS programs.

I am sure there are several others too.

Yeah, Powdrell, Polidore, Rohan, Humphrey, and Moore, to name a few. I don't doubt there were other players as well. The FBS leaches are certainly out looking at successful FCS programs for talent that they can't develop themselves.

Eh, there’s a decent chance MSU’s starting QB is a dropdown that Stanford helped develop, and the leading rusher could be a transfer Wisconsin helped develop. Many of the recent WRs have been FBS drop-downs, too.

Until MSU implements a no drop-down/portal policy, it seems like sour grapes to complain about players moving up to FBS.

You might give him a hard pass, but any competent AD should at least consider a guy whose record as a head coach in the Big Sky is 23-1 with 3 conference titles in 3 seasons for a school that had done absolutely nothing in its 20+ years in the conference before he got there.

One of the strongest things about Bobcat football is the culture. Why mess with that?

Taylor has really solid recruiting connections in Northern California. That was key to his success. Finding guys like Scatteboo who was overlooked at a Sacramento area high school.

Beyond the character questions though, I recall watching multiple Sac State games wondering how he had accumulated a good record. Whether it was clock management or going for it on fourth and 700, he left me scratching my head. I would have zero problems with Leon not considering him as any viable candidate.
