Re: Cats vs. North Dakota State Predictions
This is the first game against a quality opponent this season where I am not anxious. That itself should make me anxious. Nevertheless, I think we shall be victorious!

Well, Ohio St. over Oregon worked out pretty well for Mr. Massey’s simulation computer, didn’t it?

Re: Cats vs. North Dakota State Predictions
And I’m feeling just the opposite. As each week came up, it just seemed like they would handle it and move on. I think I’m simply dealing with the weight of NDSU history both against MSU and in Frisco, and all the family I have who’ve gone to NDSU or currently live in Fargo/Moorhead. I guess my desire to have our guys win this one feels almost like a gris game. Stomach in knots, etc. I fully believe we are the better team, but so many stupid things happen.
That said, I’m entering my name … oops … is there anyone else on the board who has watched the ‘Cats, in person or on live TV, win the NC in 1956, 1976 and 1984? I’d sure like to get a fourth one in the memory banks!

Re: Cats vs. North Dakota State Predictions
I am nervous about the cats for this game but that's nothing new. Oddly enough I was most nervous this year about playing ISU in Pocatello. I thought that was a bad matchup for the cats, it was a bit of a struggle but the cats wound up handling them fine. Anything can happen but I am optimistic. I think the game will be similar to the USD game.

Just got home. My Prediction was pretty dam accurate. Marty should've got more touches, but eh...lakesbison wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 10:04 pmNDSU 31

Late pick 6 by NDSU to seal it.
NDSU will bring back some OLD SCHOOL clock management, Run the ball more and Eat clock.
Defensively NDSU was blitzing alot more recently, but this game it'll be back to the squeeze everything to the middle.
Tommy won't get outside.
You'll remember the name Marty Brown by the end of this game.

What part of your prediction was pretty accurate? Run the ball more? Wow, nicely done. No pick 6, no pick at all. Tommy got outside plenty. 35-32 final score. Marty Brown?lakesbison wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 11:33 amJust got home. My Prediction was pretty dam accurate. Congrats to your team. Lance is exceptional. Made a couple more plays. Look forward to the next one.
