You're not wrong. But usually he calms down and settles in after a few misses. He did that against USD.

Re: Cats vs. North Dakota State Predictions
Cats lead most of the 2nd half. Ndsu scores a TD late to potentially tie the game but decides to go for 2, Miller gets stuffed.
Cats win 28-27

Gross. Both of those predictions.
The two best teams in college football in their respective divisions, getting no respect.
griz fans; keeping it classy and gracious in winning since ... well, never.

Re: Cats vs. North Dakota State Predictions
I see a 7-10 point win. Cats are in control the majority of the game, but never pull away and the biSon stay within striking distance all game.
I’ll be surprised if this one gets out of hand either way, I think it’ll be a hard fought win, with a 2 score or less margin of victory.

Re: Cats vs. North Dakota State Predictions
34-24 Cats. Key precursors include MSU better 3rd/4th down defense, better rushing O/D, and Tommy Mellot.

Cats 38
Bills 29
Keys:
(1) Our ability to tackle - USD game was somewhat of a debacle in this area at times
(2) Keeping lanes in the pass rush and keeping Miller from getting loose
(3) MSU WRs will get loose at some point - need to make the big plays (3rd down) to keep NDSU offense on the sideline and not wear us down
Outcome:
(1) Woodard glues onto Lance. Security forces Lance to purchase the 13th cheerleader ticket because most of the game he simply watches and cheers
(2) Mellott Offensive MVP with 125 yards rushing. Scottre adds 122 and Jones another 65.
(3) Eiden Defensive MVP with 2 sacks and 2 hurries (NDSU concentrates on Grebe and Eiden tears them up)
(4) Robin Hauck watches on ESPN from Portland and is credited with 14 tackles.

he gets benched for a targeting of mellot out of bounds on a play that chance was in on because we were up 38-14 in the 3rd quarter.77matman wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 4:25 pmWhat!!!!!PortlandCat90 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 11:32 amCats 38

NDSU 31
MSU 21
Late pick 6 by NDSU to seal it.
NDSU will bring back some OLD SCHOOL clock management, Run the ball more and Eat clock.
Defensively NDSU was blitzing alot more recently, but this game it'll be back to the squeeze everything to the middle.
Tommy won't get outside.
You'll remember the name Marty Brown by the end of this game.

Well if you can figure out a way to hold this Bobcat offense to 21 points I will certainly be impressed!lakesbison wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 10:04 pmNDSU 31

I still think Adam Jones is a better Fr running back but no doubt Brown is good too, do you think you will be able to keep him for 4 years?

If this year's ndsu defense is able to hold MSU to 21 points, then they deserve the natty. Good luck to them.lakesbison wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 10:04 pmNDSU 31
