If Banks was still the DC this score would look a lot different. Yes the players are different but the scheme is atrocious. 21 through 3 quarters against a decent Pac12 team is a good offensive showing. We'd still be within in striking distance with Banks.
I don't agree, i don't think. The last team we played with this good of an oline and this much offensive talent was ndsu, and they could have hung 70 on us if they wanted to. We need work, no doubt, this has been ugly but i think it's as much Johnnys vs joes at it is x and os.

MSU has outgained OSU 103-53 this quarter. Outscored 20-7 though.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Why is Tommy still in???
We have no RBs left, let’s not get in the same trouble with QBs!

NDSU ran the ball at will. The run D has actually been pretty good. We never had such ugly coverage breakdowns where there was nobody within 10 yards of a receiver under Banks. The holes in the zone look like the Ash years against Eastern.

Because he needs work passing.

There is no passing game against even mediocre FBS teams.

Still wondering how this is “humor.”

Why not just keep running the ball with Chambers? He’s a beast and Tommy is lost in the passing game tonight.

Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

What a ride

We're running the same 4 2 5 scheme as we ran last year.

At this point I don't know if passing the ball against this team will help with his development.

Ouch. Tommy sure doesn’t have the touch today. Cats really didn’t look like a very good team today. Hope they can clean things up, but there is A LOT to clean up.

I'm going to agree that it's ugly, obviously, but I'll be more concerned if we look this bad against ewu next week. Tons of big holes but tons of short fields and sudden change also.

Dang! Three picks.

At least Dennis' qb is putting in lots of his kids. Need help in the secondary. Good line play, especially DL.

Just get out of this game healthy guys. We don't need anymore injuries now that the real season is about to begin.

@ilovethecats
What kind of hat do you have picked out?

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Right. We got dominated by their oline and were committed to stopping the run and playing off their receivers. They picked it apart and we didn't adjust. But we had no, and i mean zero, pass rush either. Don't think that's scheme as much as a young dline against a pac 12 oline.
