NDSU has build a program that is actually hard to believe. They are playing like a top 20 FBS team right now. I'm not saying it's impossible for MSU to keep in close but IMO it would require some HUGE breaks, like they're QB and maybe a few other key players getting ejected, or 5+ fluke turnovers for us, etc.
Let's face it - NDSU is a Top 20 FBS team. Maybe even a Top 15. They're that solid & consistent.

However, they will not overmatch us at every position, whether they believe that or not. They do not have a Troy Anderson at QB. They do not have an athlete like Jonsen on their entire roster. They do not have a true frosh RB like we have.

They also have not dismantled a legacy FCS program who is their bitter rival like the Bobcats have done to the dark pink fags. In fact, last time NDSU played the jizz I don't think things went too well for them.
wait..what?? QB Easton Stick will be drafted in NFL but your qb is better? oh this thread just keeps delivering... I like it!! more more. :)
Easton Stick is a good QB, but he isn't Andersen. That's not to say Andersen is a better QB because they are very different, but Stick isn't a 225 pound freight train who is one of the 5 fastest players on the field every game. Also, Stick is not getting drafted by anybody. Sorry

Hahahaha......what a joke! Hit in the mouth with what? Your pretend indignity? Face the facts junior, your season ends shortly! Bank on it!

Let me get this straight 🤔 You are comparing beating the Griz this year to playing against the Bison?? Nope, sorry doesn't work for anyone who knows anything about football. End of your discussion.

This post has made it's way over to a couple of our sites. This idiot will be back to discuss results with you after the game next week. Thanks for the motivation we clearly dont need! 😂🤣😂🤣
The "idiots over the divide" are the griz, you ding dong.
Well at least he spelled bizon correctly, give him credit! And, he's right about another thing, he's an idiot. I'm super impressed with their program, but i truly think I'd rather talk football with grizzly fans. I know we very likely won't win, and very likely will get beaten pretty soundly, but boy it'd be sweet to hear the howling.
Haha, after next week you and the Griz fans will have a number of open monthes to talk football. And you should be able to hear quite a bit of howling from your own sidelines after about the first quarter.
Did you read my post? Clearly states I expect us to lose. Kind of makes it hard to talk trash, right? Your team has earned the right for your fans to act like a%$holes, to be sure. Glad to see you guys are still holding up your end of it.
What NDSU has built is simply amazing, they are the envy of the FCS. I don’t think anyone really has anything but respect for their program and what they’ve done the last 7 years.

But man.... their fanbase’s arrogance is second to none.
And what facts do you base this on? One or two NDSU posters on BN?
Ummm....every NDSU poster on every team message board for, say...the last decade or so.
Perhaps just a wee bit of an exaggeration.

Hey everyone....just don't feed the trolls. Clearly BizonProud has a fulfilling life of trying to be the biggest jackass fan possible. Ignore him, if Bizon fans want to talk about football and the game, please engage. Otherwise, ignore the idiots and help Kevin and I from having to moderate the board all damn week.

BizonProud, it's not like people don't know you guys have owned the FCS for some time. Your teams great, now have some PRIDE, act like a winner or GTFO.
😪 Sorry, guess my language was pretty harsh. I guess only bobcat fans can talk crap on this site. I dont want to hurt anyones feelings....I knew it was cold over there, but I didnt know there were that many snowflakes. 😁

I started reading this thread and stopped after the first couple pages. Lots of talk about Bison Fans being the biggest assholes on the net. I hope you guys and gals get a chance to come to fargo and go through the tailgate. You won't find a more welcoming fanbase. Don't believe me just ask fans of other visiting teams (less the goofballs from the Community College in Elforko Grande). Congrats on the first round win and safe travels for those who do come to the game. Hope you have a good time regardless of the outcome and hope to have a few Bobcat fans rethink their attitude towards Bison fans. To the rest I'll lose no sleep if you don't.

Stick will make it as either a backup or on a practice squad. I'd say the latter.

Thanks for the sudden change in your tone. If you look back honestly at your other posts just in this thread, you should be able to understand why everyone thinks you are online jerks. I'm sure the fans in Fargo are good people.

I'm sure the majority of Bison fans are great folks. I seem to run into a lot of folks wearing bison gear in my travels and have always been able to have good conversations with them. Glad you are part of this forum, having folks from other fan bases show up always makes for a great week.

As an aside for others, I bumped a thread in the smack forum which, in my opinion, is a classic. Lets give the mods a break and keep the attitudes there.

Even if your team beats us 100-0, Bobcat fans will look upon this season with fondness for many years to come. 8 wins, beat the griz for the third time in a row, got into the playoffs, got a playoff win. It's all gravy from here. We're not built for a deep playoff run yet. We're banged up. We're dipping deep into our red-shirt reserves just to fill the roster. Building depth, which is already improved greatly, is a next step in the process.

The North Dakotans I know are such nice people. Why you gotta be such a douche?
Hahaha.... you got me. I'm a Montana Native who wants to be a winner! 😂🤣
Definition of a bandwagon fan, lemme guess, former griz fan too?

Several years ago when I was young and what seems like yesterday now, your school and the school I watched and admired had annual games and my many relatives from the Dakotas would come to the Gallatin Valley for hunting Thanksgiving Weekend and the good natured ribbing was taught to me.

Your school has been able to maintain stability and continuity while that institution I received my bachelors at, MSU, experienced several years of constant turmoil and the entire school was in financial trouble. Fortunately, our Board of Regents made one of the most incredible hires this state has ever made in the person of Waded Cruzado. She does not accept excuses. Very result oriented and not afraid to bring another in who will bring about desired results.

This game on December 1, 2018 will provide a great measuring stick as to whether or not Waded and her committee made the correct hire for the representative and first impression of our institution. Just as that Bobcat team of 1976 had to beat the Bison not just once but twice and still many felt they'd get their arses handed to them by Akron, they made believers out of this state.

I don't have a crystal ball and don't really have much more than a passing interest in the teams playing anymore other than they are grandchildren of some of my college classmates. Those kids wearing the Blue and Gold this year reminds me an awful lot of the "kids" on that 76 team in their overall demeanor and conduct on the field. Off the field seems to be a bit better, in my opinion as I've not heard anything about the "Thursday Night Social Club."

One thing I can guarantee about this year's Bobcat football team is that they play MSU Bobcat football. For the first time this year, yesterday I did not see a single dropped pass! I saw visions of a crazy red head from Westby out on the edge on defense and the secondary looked more than ready. I personally look forward to the trip to Fargo and a rather large family reunion. We'll even welcome those relatives who went to UND and Missoula--as long as they keep their mouths shut.

See you there. You won't be able to miss me. I'll be wearing blue and gold.

DOesn't seem that long ago that we hosted NDSU in the playoffs right here in BOzeman. I remember I was eating breakfast out and a bunch of NDSU fans came in and we had lots of fun conversing with them. Really a great bunch of folks.

I think we may have been favored in that game but as I recall NDSU unleashed a powerful running game that we could not stop and they won, rather decisively I think (I'm too lazy to look this up right now.) In any event, we didn't stay "on top" very long, and NDSU soared to the top big time.

I really think our program is headed in the right direction. It will be interesting to see just how we fare next Saturday. I personally think that we have improved a lot since we lost some lopsided games early on, like to SDSU.

You never know. For example, remember a few years ago when UM whipped NDSU during the regular season, then NDSU waxed them in the playoffs. How do you explain that? Upsets do happen. Obviously, we have to play a perfect game with no turnovers. But that's why you play the games and not just on paper.

Go Cats!

That game was in 2010. 4 turnovers didn't help our game result then.

You bet, and I'll buy the first round! Good to see someone who can take a little ribbing! Ps... might want to let some of the relatives know that sioux and griz fans aren't allowed in Fargo!

I could give two s***s what they think about a buy out years ago. If it wasn’t in the contract, it wouldn’t have happened. Get ready to get hit in the mouth ndsu.
Hahahaha......what a joke! Hit in the mouth with what? Your pretend indignity? Face the facts junior, your season ends shortly! Bank on it!
It wasn't all that long ago griz fans sounded just like you. Granted, they never had the success the NDSU program has enjoyed. If MSU had the success NDSU has had I'd be damn proud, too. But if you want to see how the circle comes back around, look no further than missoula.
Let me get this straight 🤔 You are comparing beating the Griz this year to playing against the Bison?? Nope, sorry doesn't work for anyone who knows anything about football. End of your discussion.

You bet, and I'll buy the first round! Good to see someone who can take a little ribbing! Ps... might want to let some of the relatives know that sioux and griz fans aren't allowed in Fargo!
Oh no! I have too many relatives who went to both of those schools to not give them crap too. Especially the ones who still wear their Fighting Sioux gear, they catch hell for sure. In fact, I need to get them some fighting chicken hawk clothes on the way over Friday. Have a good week and see y'all Saturday, roads willing.

Thanks for the sudden change in your tone. If you look back honestly at your other posts just in this thread, you should be able to understand why everyone thinks you are online jerks. I'm sure the fans in Fargo are good people.
Dude you need to step away from the keyboard for awhile. That was my first post in this thread! [-X
