I'm honestly shocked we were able to hang on to nearly all of our top players. Vigen, his staff, the athletics staff, President Tessman, alumni/donors...etc. have really stepped up this year. Kudos to everyone...LET'S RUN THIS THING BACK!!!!
I was thinking about this the other day. I'd say there was around 15 thousand Bobcat fans in Nashville for the game and thousands of more watching back home. There are currently around 800 QB club members. I know, people give to MSU in a variety of ways and not everyone can afford the $1K for yearly QB club dues, but can you imagine if the Cats could get another one thousand QB club members and what that would do for team, NIL, etc.? Sheesh!
I would say at least 20K Bobcats!

I’m gonna argue with your numbers of people at the game. I’m guessing that closer to 19 or 20,000 or Bobcat fans. I also don’t think there were 10,000 empty seats there. I wonder how many tickets weren’t counted between the high amount of reporters on the sideline bands, parents, other guests, etc.
But I’m not a crowd aficionado
Around 15 thousand...... :D

If I said a larger number, someone would tell me it was fewer than that. I was surprised at the number of people there that weren't fans of either team.

I did see UM fans, NDSU fans, JMU, UND even saw a couple from NAU
I'm not a crowd aficionado either but figured that some fans spread out a little from their ticketed seats into the emptier areas, which made the stands appear to be more full than if everyone was in their ticketed seat. I'm not sure what the benefit would be to the NCAA to underreport attendance.

On offense, still waiting on confirmation from Jones and Zimmer?
Yep. Jones isn't going anywhere; I'd be SHOCKED.

Zimmer is one I'd expect we're trying to tie down.
I saw Unger tweeted that Zimmer is sticking around
That’s the one I saw on FB. I don’t know who Jeff Unger is, but he’s shown up in my feed a ton these last few weeks. Obviously a super fan. I’d imagine he’s active on here? (Not trying to out you Jeff if you’re staying anonymous here). But he seems to know a thing or two about what’s going on, seemingly anyways.
A nice guy from Glendive. He told me that he does not use Bobcat Nation due to a variety of reasons.

Yeah, I might have been guilty of inciting a bit of that in Nashville.

It was fun at first but then it got a little old. I started thinking why did we bring the gris to the game, they were mostly at home where they belonged. If we ever get to play them in the natty, bring it up heartily.

Guys. Quit worrying about it. We have lost who we have, and that was expected. We may not see a single portal transfer to MSU as many are waiting for. We may hear 1-2 by the end of the week but it’s doubtful.

We don’t need the portal like the Griz do. I’m more optimistic about next years team than I was about this years! And I early on thought this years team was better than last years. Let’s ride!

PS. No other player of significance is leaving..
Good posting!

I saw all the transfers the griz have had commit and of course they are back to world champions. What we have is a program and have become a well oiled machine. We will get our transfers here, however, I think a lot more goes into who we take and the conditions that have led them here. Not just throwing out a large net and bringing in whoever bites.
Many of us/you/them were panicked we didn’t bring in DB’s with our loses to graduation and mainly the portal after last season. Everyone proclaimed all we had was a bunch of unproven freshman. We all thought that was going to be the missing point of our team this year along with Tommy moving along . I’d argue this year’s DB’s along with a passing QB brought us the chipper.

Book Nashville now for next year..
Already have!!!!!
How did you do that out of curiosity? I tried to do it already but the normal places where I book flights don't seem to go out that far... can only book until December of this year.

Just completed the QB Club form. You're looking at the newest member of the MSU QB Club
We joined last week and have gotten about 10 emails from MSU, President Tessman, the alumni foundation etc, etc. but nothing from the actual QBC.

He is probably talking hotel or VRBO, they will let you book out a year in advance. We booked a downtown hotel for next year.

His frame could easily carry 315-320 if they can safely get him there.

If he and Thornton can play at 3 bills each, with titan and mastel... yikes... that's a pretty salty 4 out of the 5. Need someone to step forward to own that left guard or center spot.

NCAA has a pre-sale for tickets so I signed up for that. The hotel I picked will take long term reservations. Flights I am not worried about.

Yeah, but the ticket presale about August wont include the home/visitor block. Just end zones and corners.

Good to see another kid with Eastern, Montana roots flourishing at Montana State. And by the way, Billings is not Eastern Montana.
Braden has roots out of Sidney and Glendive.
Always been hard on me to watch kids from that country go west over the hill.
Brad has garnered a lot of major interest. Glad to see him at MSU. I know his family made sacrifices for him to stay.

Hmmm, official BobcatNation NIL fundraiser. Every time a poster posts a non sequitor griz mention, mentions mony mony or the ESG GCG chant that poster owes $50 to the Bobcat Collective. 8)
