False starts

Has anyone heard any answers about the false starts all year long , not just the last game. In the championship if you eliminate half of them we win in a rout. The Yale game and the championship were the worst but it happened all year, a lot in the red zone.

I think statistically it’s an anomaly. That being said it should be looked into. How many false starts did we have per game all season, and then the playoffs are off the charts. What changed?

From what I saw at the game, JT had a twitch that he just couldn't shake, and the D-linemen for the Birds were very active at multiple shifts just before snaps. I bet there is more to the story. Take away half of those false starts and its a 2 score win.

We had a few in the Yale game but it was the SFA game where we really struggled- 3 delay of game and 6 false start penalties. We know that the opposing defenses were mimicking our snap cadence in both of those games because there were defensive delay of game penalties which rarely happens. This didn’t happen against the gris but came out in full force against ISU. The defense shifting so much and maybe Reed being nervous was a bad combo. Hopefully, they come up with a different or silent snap count next year.

Well, one of the perks of being in the QB club is the access to some inside information and unvarnished opinions from Vigen. We also aren’t supposed to talk about what we hear in those meetings, although that doesn’t always happen.

Unfortunately they actually happened and happened and happened. Fortunately we figured out a way to win.

No real reason other than it happened. Lots of movement by them. They were chirping but the payers were use to that after Yale purposely did it. As did every team after that. They were prepared and expecting it. Nerves, Yips, over thinking... No excuses, it happened, and they don’t need to be reminded

That’s what I got from several players. Not a QBC member… Yet! I will join within the month. Just like the players jumping off sides, I don’t have an excuse for not joining except from sneaking it by the wife.

Yes sir! Now we need 1000 more. I spent 9 thousand plus dollars on bobcat tickets, tailgates, fees, playoffs, travel, championship game, etc.. I can’t fully fund my retirement account bc of it, but I’m out of excuses for not joining. Consider it done.
