My guess is that Wing is next and that when it's all said and done, Jareb Ramos will be the only returning starter on their defense.

Clay Oven, Hayden Schwartz, Jake Mason, Braydon Bailey, Kade Cutler, Kade Boyd... those are pretty much the only other guys coming back who even had a significant role.

It's going to have to be a total overhaul.

On offense, it will be pretty significant too. Though if they wind up bringing back KAY, Gillman, and Brooks Davis, that's going to be a great start. I think the OL will be the X factor for them. Will losing the entire unit from this year actually help them? Or are they taking a step backwards from what was already a pretty tenuous position?
I believe they had a redshirt freshman, Amick, starting at one of the OT spots the last few games of the year.
I think he was rotating with Botner? Or did Botner go back to rotating at center?
I thought Botner was the one snapping the ball high every time, but I wasn't paying that much attention. @Colter_Nuanez Can you help us out?

He’s going to be a good one if he stays. I hate the word DOLA over there because I haven’t seen too many dominant O lineman in Missoula for a while. But this kid has it. Was on a number of freshman award lists along with brooks Davis so he’s getting some recognition. Which also makes me nervous he could portal

I don't think a lot of kids have strong agent representation that gives them honest and accurate advice. Why leave a starting position to go bigger and be more of a special teams player than starter?

Botner and Cade Klimzcak rotated at center until the bitter end.....

Amick and Everett Johnson rotated at RT down the stretch. Amick straight up started the middle part of the season while Johnson was out with an injury.

While I will shed no tears on the grizLLies losing a good player, I’m not exactly going to gloat. We’ll see how we fare over the next couple of weeks.

Yep. If it's going to happen, you want it to hit them and the Bison, etc. but the overall feeling is sorrow at what things have come to.

Amuck wasn’t even good enough to crack the starting rotation of a weak line until an injury occurred. You are living in an alternate universe.

I read this week that Iowa State only has 17 kids left on their roster. I don’t know the numbers, but looks like a ton of Wyoming players hit the portal.
I get the move from FCS to G5 or P4 as a move up and more NIL. I dobt understand these mass exodus from bad teams. Most of those players didn't prove enough on bad teams to move up. It is lateral at best and no guarantee of landing spot or more $. It is almost as if they transfer just because they can. Don't work to make your program better, just bail.

I think it stinks. I hate seeing the Bison lose their guys. I don’t like that Loud is gone. I want the FCS to be as strong as possible. NDSU weathered the portal storm for a long time. I’m preparing myself for max exodus next week. Hopefully while celebrating a Natty.

Phew. I assumed he was still out on the field in Bozeman, dominating the Cats offense. Lucky us. We might be able to beat them next year, finally and at long last.

Not only that, there will be resentment in the locker room from the players who are fighting for playing time and haven’t signed some big NIL deal.

Well the really good thing about the Bobcats, assuming Vigen sticks around for another year... is he absolutely proved himself this year in terms of re-loading, rebuilding, whatever you want to call it. Look at the crazy amount of talent, number of players we had to replace off last year's team that either graduated or bolted for the portal... and here we are. As others have said, if we just lose the 6 or 7 Seniors that were major contributors, and only a handful of players to the portal, I have no doubt we'll be right back here next year... preparing for the National Championship.

I’m with ya. I’m probably in the minority but I want those teams to be good every year. I wish we were playing NDSU this year, win or lose, it would sweet to win one against them. Hate both of them, but I have zero interest playing games on a Wednesday or Thursday night just to say we are D1. If sdsu, um, NDSU, msu, and a few others moved up why couldn’t there be a new conference in D1? I could get down with that.
