Nashville Stadium Guide - Tickets/Parking/Tailgating

Post by BlueAndGoldNation » Tue Dec 23, 2025 3:08 am

Understanding FirstBank Stadium's Layout
So to clear up some confusion, Vanderbilt's FirstBank Stadium can hold 35,000 people in 2025, which is a reduction to what used to be 40,350 in 2021. It seems as if the school has opted to tear down their endzone bowl and replace it with premium seating, also known as the Commodore Club. Here are some before and after pictures...

Before - 40,350 (2021)
Image

After - 35,000 (2025)
Image

Where to Buy Seats Next to MSU Fans
Image

MSU's fans are seated in sections P-V on the Visitor (East) Side
Please make sure to buy tickets on this side of the stadium. Sections R-T are blocked out on the NCAA ticket website. I can only assume that those sections are MSU's allotment. The rest of the sections are up for sale at face value, but these tickets will likely see a decline in price on the after market closer to the game. (NDSU/Griz Fans will be selling their unneeded tickets CHEAP!)

Here is the official site to buy Tickets from at face value $158+...
https://ncaa.evenue.net/events/FCS

New Premium Endzone Seating - Opened for 2025 Season
Image
There are seats being sold for the championship game in this new endzone area. This is what the $395+ tickets include...
Commodore Club tickets in South EZ (Level SEZ) include
- club access with complimentary game day buffet
- snacks and non-alcoholic drinks
- access to cash bar

If you are interested in buying these premium $395+ tickets, purchase them from the Official Vandy Website down below...
https://vucommodores.evenue.net/event/FB25/FCS

Parking Information
Image
There is parking available for sale on the official website, the options are...
-$42.80 for Lot 2 FCS Parking
-$307.30 for RV Parking
-$30.73 for 25th Ave Garage Parking

I'm sure there are other areas to park that aren't as close to the stadium, but this is just convenient.
Here is the Official Link to purchase parking passes...
https://vucommodores.evenue.net/events/FCSPARK

Official Rideshare Pickup/Dropoff Locations
For patrons using any type of rideshare service, such as a taxi, Uber, or Lyft, there are specific locations – one on the east side of the stadium and one on the west side of the stadium.
-West pick up and drop off: Chipotle parking lot (2825 West End Avenue)
-East pick up and drop off: Off Garland Avenue, near 2402 Garland Avenue

Official Tailgate Location/Time(UPDATED)
Image
The following info is straight from the msuaf website...
Jan. 5 | Bobcat Tailgate
Monday, Jan. 5 | 1:30 p.m. CT

Rally with fellow Bobcats before the Championship Game. Bobcat Tailgate location is at Natchez Field. Tailgate is open to all! Bring your own food and beverages including water, no food or beverage will be available for purchase.

Vanderbilt's website shows the designated tailgating location to be on the Natchez practice field. First come first serve. This is also the same location for ISU's tailgate so we will be sharing the space. Bobcat fans might want to get there early to stake their claim on most of the field.

Also, this is just speculation, but I do see the Prowl taking place along this road shown above. It runs right by Natchez Field. Times and everything surrounding the prowl is TBD.

I will update this thread with any other information I get on Tailgating, the Bobcat Prowl time/location, and more...
If anyone has anymore information to add, make a post down below...

The web address below gives the info that you gave plus much more,
including a map that shows where the teams walk to the stadium.

https://vucommodores.com/fcs-gameday/

I haven't found if there is a good public bus transportation system that will
get us from our hotel downtown to the stadium and back.
Does anyone know what's available and wat's best to use?

This is really cool to see the view from different seats as well.

This is going to be so much better than Toyota Stadium!

Except the fact it looks like the tailgating area is limited, whereas in Frisco, the entire parking lot was a tailgate. I hope Vandy doesn't underestimate Montanans ability to party

Hmmm, ya, that could be an issue. I mean it's not going to stop anyone from tailgating\partying before the game but agree it would be nice to have a huge open area, and that does not look like enough space AT ALL. I did some quick Google Mapping, and that designated area shown in the diagram is roughly 2 acres. We have over 20 acres of tailgate area at Bobcat Stadium.

Vandy is not set up to tailgate, it’s set up to hit the bars before and after games

I meant the stadium and the field itself, the rundown soccer stadium with the crappy field sucked.

Alternative flight options

Louisville, KY SDF is about a 3 hr drive
Atlanta ATL about 4ish hour drive

better airfare than BNA

Memphis and Cincy are also decent options within ~4 hours

As far as the tailgating goes, Vandy is a bad place to tailgate because no space.. hit the Midtown bars on Division or head to Broadway and be Such much easier and less stressful

Sam Herder mentioned that Nashville will be really promoting the game. Apparently, they are going to push the tailgate and have a concert.

On a separate note, has anyone purchased tickets off Seat Geek or Stubhub? If so, have you received your tickets?

Someone said the NCAA isn’t using AXS anymore? Is that correct? And if so, how are tickets delivered?

Talked to the ticket office and I think they'll show up under your account on msubobcats.com, probably on the 29th.

AXS doesn’t handle the tickets any longer

I don’t have enough priority points. I’ll be buying on the secondary market. Which is fine.

If the Cats had 10-12k in attendance last year, what are people’s guesses for this year? From my core group, a lot aren’t coming due to Nashville being so much more expensive to get too. Thoughts?

Any new news on a large tailgate?
Just saw today from an MSU email that the tailgate location will be at Natchez Field, about a 0.7 mile walk from the north entrance of the stadium, from 1:30-5:30PM. And I learned that this is also the location of the ISU tailgate:
https://news.illinoisstate.edu/2025/12/ ... t-details/

There is another thread on BobcatNation: "We are on the Visitors Side" where there is more about this event.

Thank you. I updated the OP in this thread with the updated tailgate info!

I'd suggest checking the ticket exchange here before buying on the secondary market (seatgeek being used by NCAA instead of AXS this year).
The fees for those sites really increase the prices over what someone is actually getting.
