Some of you all need to chill regarding Julius.
Also, taunting is the weakest, softest call in football. Who gives a crap if he did? Don’t like it, then you better stop em.

Re: Julius Davis
And you probably should go back and watch all the games this year over again. Every single game this year he could have been called for taunting more than once. He goes back at defenders to jaw in their face on most plays.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 9:40 amSome of you all need to chill regarding Julius.

Maybe someone should remind he to act like he has been there before when he gets a first down and not wave at the bench.

if it costs a TD or gives the other team the ball in better field position ie penalty assessed on kickoff etc it is bad for the team.....sure we scored but what if we would have gotten stopped, missed the fg etc.....so easy not to do it...play angry but smart....BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 9:40 amSome of you all need to chill regarding Julius.

I for one can’t wait until we have emotionless robots playing. Re: Julius Davis
Whether you like the taunting rule or not, it's not something the refs came up with mid-game. Everyone knows the rule. It's also a penalty that is completely a choice made by the offender. Most penalties are mistakes or things that just happen in the midst of a play. A player has to decide to go out of his way to put himself before his team and taunt another player in the middle of a play.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 11:49 amI for one can’t wait until we have emotionless robots playing. It wasn’t very original. Google “peace sign taunting.” It was just an intentional, unnecessary act that could have hurt his team.

To anyone that says it's not a big deal: it took points off the board. That the Cats were good enough to overcome that and score later on the drive doesn't undo that fact.

I agree with whoever said this man must be exhausting to coach and to play with. Coaches and teammates need a big broom to push behind him.coloradocat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 1:14 pmTo anyone that says it's not a big deal: it took points off the board. Hey. I haven’t had any issues with you posting here and what not, it’s generally been amusing. With that said, I’d like to request something of you.OldGriz wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 2:38 pmI agree with whoever said this man must be exhausting to coach and to play with. You wanna talk football, fine. Please do so. If you’re going to continually insult, degrade, or talk down about the players on our football team, keep that to your board. I think that’s fair, don’t you?

Out of respect for you, if you say it’s fair, I’ll say it’s fair. It’s an interesting process to see comments from Bobcat fans that I agree with, and apparently not be able to weigh in with agreement. But out of my respect for you, I’m finished as far as this thread goes (assuming this post doesn’t draw crazy responses).BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 2:54 pmHey. Re: Julius Davis
IMO, even after the high emotions of my game statements and having a few days to reflect, Davis needs to go.
He is entirely too emotional and undisciplined to be a part of this team. He is a 25 year old child who desperately needs to grow up. Seven years in college? Really? That alone (not to mention his antics on the field) is evidence enough of his lack of discipline.
I believe that he has lost the trust of his teammates. How can a team, who relies on trust that their teammates are going to do the right thing, rely on a guy who continually f**ks up despite (presumably) being disciplined by the coaches? Yeah, he can run. That is his saving grace and that is why Vigen is keeping him in and treating him with kid-gloves. He believes that he needs him, and he doesn't. We have other good RBs.
I still believe that he is a liability and I really hope that none of us has to say, "I told you so", when he costs us a game with his childish behavior.

Re: Julius Davis
I haven't seen any indication that any of his teammates or coaches feel this way. I suspect they are in a much better position to read the situation.
Have you tried weed? Might give you a new perspective on life.
Wishing you much happiness.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

He has two games left in his career. His teammates support him. He's been a fantastic teammate, especially when injured and on the sidelines. He'll be gone next year.Augustus wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 4:56 pmIMO, even after the high emotions of my game statements and having a few days to reflect, Davis needs to go.

Personally, I don't think cutting him would be sufficient. I think prison time is warranted. Followed by exile to any Siberian gulags that remain operational. He needs to spend the rest of his days attempting to break the permafrost with a pick axe.
That's the only reasonable thing to do with a man who waves at his opponents in such a flippant and unrestrained manner.
We must have order!!!
