Nah. You run the statue of liberty or wide receiver passes when up a couple tds late in the 4th. Putting in backups and taking a knee is for teams that run up the score…..

I definitely didn't hear FTC today at all on ABC it's called a rivalry man. Good lord. I could give a crap what you guys say to us while trash talking. It comes with the rivalry. We are talking strictly about on the field, and coaching decisions. Running trick plays needlessly on a team down 14 or 20 in the last 4 minutes of the 4th quarter is crazy!!! We proved on Brawl 1.0, we took knees when we were driving to put an exclamation point on the Griz. It could have easily been a 10 point game, but our coaches chose to knee the ball instead of run a statue of liberty play that they could have used in actual useful situations.

2 points. First score iced the game but you had to run trick plays and air it out to get it when most teams would be burning clock. Last score was at time could have taken a knee. Cats could have scored on last possession vs Griz, Yale, and SFA. Took a knee in all 3.

As for “running up the score” it was the 4th string rb getting a handoff from the second string qb with a ****** of backups in. It’s very obvious, to anyone that isn’t a complete idiot that we were just running out the clock.
It’s not the second string offenses job to not score, those kids want to play too, it’s the opposing teams defenses job to not let them score. And yes I’d say the same if it were the cats who have con-tin-u-ous-ly done it all season long.

Yep LOL all the Griz poster that came here pre Brawl and pre them playing SDSU was that SDSU was horrible. Then Griz beat them and back to being the best offense, defense, and team in the nation.
