Its orders of magnitude worse.

Re: Julius Davis
Not defending Davis's actions at all but I was highly unimpressed with several of the Yale players, especially #7. He was trying to fight people the whole game. I really wish the refs would have done something about that. The fact that the head coach wouldn't be interviewed is so tacky. I mean come on. They outplayed and outcoached the Cats today it seemed, and yet we still won. There was some SERIOUS emotion during the game and alot for the coaches to address this week in practice from that, to some sloppiness, etc. I think we'll see a very different team next week.

I heard that Julius mentioned that Jeff wasn’t a complete stud and Vigen took exception with that because he obviously is.

I listened to the post game and one of their coaches spoke. He also had the balls to say that his kids go to a REAL schoolnanacat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 06, 2025 6:34 pmNot defending Davis's actions at all but I was highly unimpressed with several of the Yale players, especially #7. Re: Julius Davis
Never said I wanted him cut. Said many times we need him. Was afraid that he may BE cut if accountability wasn't had. He's one of my favorite Bobcat RBs of all time and I actually think we have a chance to win last year's title with him in the backfield. He's battles through miles of adversity in his college career. He knows he needs to set a better example to his team as a leader in that moment. His post reflects that leadership and that's why I'm glad he's on our team and in our backfield. Emotions get the best of us and even I was too fired up after the game. But like Julius said, we hold each other accountable at MSU and I didn't need to be that upset with his actions until further information came out. It's never a positive thing to push a coach or teammate but all teams are built different and this one is very close both player and coach. We'll be better for what happened today both during and after the game.

Re: Julius Davis
I finally watched the video. I don’t even think it’s a big deal. Everyone was making this out to be something horrible. So, I thought something horrible happened. They yelled at each other and Julius didn’t want to be touched. I’d be shocked if he misses one snap. This is absolutely no big deal.
Hating the griz since 02.

Does this mean I should put down my pitchfork and take the tar off the burner?
That's a nice statement by him. (I didn't actually observe the incident.)

Re: Julius Davis
Ok guys...help me understand this - he was dabbing up a former teammate from Wisconsin who played for Yale. Vigen comes over and asks him to join his teammates. This is when the camera picked up his reaction. Am I getting this right?

He was dapping up a friend, that almost lead to a fight with his head coach. BS, that game was a ****** talking fest from the beginning. Literally, i watched the second half with no sound on the TV i was so sick of the announcers not picking up on what was happening on the field. YALE has little class and they clearly thought little of MSU. Make no mistake, that YALE team thinks they are better then MSU in every shape and form. And this has nothing to do with politics, this has everything to do with elite clowns and how they perceive the world around them. Watch their press conference, enough said.

Ok wow.
Which is true. I think everyone knows that the players in the 'Bama/Georgia game are not worried about finals this week.
Not sure why this is somehow news to football fans.

I thought there must have been a lot more given the way people here are talking. I think benching him for a half is fine, maybe a full game. Re: Julius Davis
Talk about overreacting. There might have been a few posters saying he shouldn't be on the team now, or he may not be. Most have been advocating for some form of discipline, which quite frankly there should be. Can I get mad at my boss, even if it's a misunderstanding, then push them and swat them away without being disciplined? No.
