Hall of Fame Banquet

Post by Cat Gal » Fri Sep 22, 2006 12:40 pm

Anyone going to the banquet tonight? Several of us are doing just that, then spending the night in the parking lot. We'd hate to miss any tailgating tomorrow morning. GO CATS!!!!!

Won't be at the banquet, but we will be out in the tailgating lot tonight. See ya tonight Cat Gal!

On the booster side, in the premium parking area, the rv lots are reserved. The rest of that lost is first come first serve in regards to those who have premium parking passes. The premium parking also extends across the street for the first few rows towards Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. Where Catgal is talking about is a grassy area (OK dry, yellow grassy area). So, it's practically like camping. :D

Nope, we both have reserved RV spots. Come'on msla, you know it isn't asphalt! ;)

As to the why, the main reason is I either have to get my trailer up there on Friday night or early Saturday morning or else it is a pain the neck trying to get it into the spot around the vehicles that have started to filter into the parking lot. Could just take it up and leave it, but my girls think it is fun to "camp" at the football game so we do it for now till it gets way too cold.

My wife and I were driving by the fields last Friday night and saw all of you with your campers there. We are shopping for a Class C RV and I told her that when we get it we were going to start camping up at the field on Friday night (we live about six blocks away from the stadium). I pretty much just got a "NO WAY" look. :( But, the next morning she turned to me and said that having the RV up at the games might not be such a bad idea......

So, I may be joining you up there next year KMAX. I'm just not sure if my wife will be along.

As for the east side parking lot; there are 15 RV Reserved spots; which are all gone for the season and then twenty-nine 20'x20' tailgating spots which are 1st come 1st serve. Those go for $50 a game. I haven't seen them rent one of those yet!
