Nashville by a mile!! the only problem is flight availability.

Re: Nashville or Frisco
I went to Frisco for both national championship games and I'd take Nashville over Dallas any time. Vegas would be good too. I thought Frisco's stadium kind of sucked too, seats were okay, but concessions and getting in the stadium were both nightmares.

Re: Nashville or Frisco
I was at both NC's in Frisco, and have been to Nashville a few times. I'd take Nashville 100%!!! Frisco is so spread out that you pretty much had to rent a car to get around. And there was really nothing around the stadium. Nashville, everything is within walking distance with plenty of fun to be had close to the stadium.
The one cool part about Frisco, that I'm not sure will be the same in Nashville, was how much the local bars catered to the FCS fans. Many were decorated up for either Bison or Bobcats. It was quite obvious the 2 fan bases were the majority in most of the bars in that area. With the every day party culture in Nashville, I don't see that happening. But who knows?!

Some people are a lot like slinkies....... Not really good for much, but it puts a smile on your face to watch them fall down a set of stairs.

Re: Nashville or Frisco
Nashville. Hands down. Love the new Vanderbilt stadium which has a capacity of 35,000. The NDSU fans can't gobble up all the tickets.
TON of stuff to do in Nashville and great restaurants. Gotta be creative in finding a way to get there. Of course, both Frisco and Nashville could have a bad weather (cold rain) event in early January, so there's always that risk.
But we have three games to win first.

The MSU operation was way more on point the second time in Frisco, no doubt. The star was a great venue for the big pep rally event. That said... Nashville by a mile. It's an urban campus stadium with a very accessible, walkable city. Frisco always felt isolated from dfw enough where we didn't spend a ton of time in either fort worth or Dallas, either time. Excited about the possibilities Nashville offers.

I've never been to Nashville. Do you have to buy brand new white boots before they let you on the plane or are those issued when you land? Just curious because I would prefer genuine ostrich...

Re: Nashville or Frisco
Nashvegas all day. Frisco was easy to get to, but holy suburban sprawl, Batman. Nothing was close. I thought I was clever by forgoing a rental hire and using ride-share. That far exceeded the cost of a rental car and was a PITA.
Flying from Portland makes it a little easier to find flights than from Montana, though it's further than DFW or DAL.
In the event that the Cats make it, Nashville should provide for a great time. I'm looking forward to it.
