Just after signing day, Marion announces that he's leaving for the OC job at Colorado.
That entire athletic department seems like one big snake pit.

Re: Marion to Colorado
So glad the delusional, arrogant clown show that is Sac State ushered themselves out of the BSC. I do however feel bad for the assistant coaches whose livelihoods are now in jeopardy. And for any of the student athletes that were with the program before their President went off the deep end.
We all joke that Missoula CC is a dumpster fire, but good gravy, this situation at Sac State is WAY worse; the whole friggin landfill is on fire!
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Was just reading the discussion on the Sac State forum and laughed out loud when one guy there suggested Brent Vigen as a possible replacement hire for Marion. That school and at least one of its fans certainly have a very inflated sense of their status within the FCS and college football! Only 4 games on the schedule so far for next year and they just alienated pretty much all their regional opponents by not only leaving the Big Sky but calling it "JV" on the way out the door...good luck to them!

Ya, posted in another place that I do feel bad for the players and new recruits. But it sure serves that arrogant president of theirs right. So who gets fired over this?

Sounds like there's interest on both sides in Troy Taylor potentially going back to Sac State. Could be a good move for both sides, Sac had their only playoff appearance and Big Sky title under him and Taylor doesn't seem likely to get a FBS job after the debacle at Stanford. Either way, not MSU's problem anymore unless they meet in the playoffs down the line.
