No Way!!! I want the Gris to win until they come to Bozeman only to lose 2xs this year to the Cats! That would be historic!Bobcat4Ever wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 1:13 amBobcats and Bunnies unite! Thanks for the update. This week you are my second favorite team of all time. All you need to do is to smack down the gris in Missoula! That’s all. Go, Jack’s!MinnesotaJack wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 1:00 amWe haven't been all that forthright with injury statuses, we get "he's working hard to get back," "getting better every day," etc. I'm assuming all of these guys are out until I see them on the field. I do think Hagen, Big Bow, and Kirschenman are probably done for the year (could possibly return for Nashville if we made it that far) and Van Tol & O'Groske could be back sooner but I don't think it will be this weekend.grizzh8r wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 12:04 amPaging @MinnesotaJack - any update on the above?PortlandCat90 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 29, 2025 5:46 pmRealistic chance that the Mecca of the Decibel owns a 2-game losing streak to end the season?
A quick look at SDSU shows they will still be missing a leading Receiver (O'Groske), Right Tackle (Hagen), Right Guard (BigBow), Defensive End (Kirschenman), and Sam (Van Tol). They are still retooling their OL per HC in his presser. Otherwise everybody is back. Hopefully there is a JackRabbit out there that can confirm this?
Honestly, while these injuries of course hurt (they're starters for a reason after all) we have enough depth at these positions to withstand them pretty well. The one position we did not have depth to withstand an injury was at QB. Getting just Mason back is worth 10x getting all of the others back. I do also think starting RB Julius Loughridge was playing through an injury as he went through a tough stretch with little production and reduced carries, but the last 2 weeks he has been running hard and as hard to tackle as he was the first 5-6 games of the year.and

Two things:
Has anyone considered that this being the first year an Ivy could be in the playoffs, that in the first half the moment was just too big for them? I mean I get being confident but I'm not sure who they are yet after watching this game. When they made sure Brungard had to stay kn the pocket it made him one dementional. So there's some good coaching there and coachable players. They settled in and look what happened.
Of course the c-um fans are going to say the Jacks sucked but now are good. They're trying to get under our skin. And its obviously working for those of you taking the bait.

I just want to say again that Youngstown is No slouch of a team. Yale could make this game a nail biter I don't see it as a chock up win by no means.

There are 16 left and Yale is one of them, so no doubt they deserve our full attention. I just don't think they can match up in the trenches. Could they shorten up the game the way mercyhurst and the Griz did, playing checkdown Charlie and running the clock? Yeah maybe so. We're going to be able to run the football on these guys as much as we want. Just my opinion, but this is as favorable as draw as we could ask for.lutecat wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 6:02 amTwo things:

Meh, YSU literally did this just about every game. Heck UNI almost shut them out in the second half last week. Their defense gets a lot of credit for sucking, however, looking through some of their games, their offense also seems to have zero second half play.lutecat wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 6:02 amTwo things:

Well it'll sure be an interesting match up. Might snow, but doubt that will affect them much. East coast snow and cold is much different than mountain snow and cold, and several times we've banked on that being an issue, it hasn't been. They may see themselves as giant killers now so I'm sure the Cats coaching staff will have the team very prepared. There's a bunch of confidence on this forum, hopefully not over confidence, but maybe a little
They still need to play the game. Pretty much it's just cool that an Ivy League team is playing in Bozeman. Looking forward to being at this one! GO CATS!!

Too confident would imply we must have lost a game sometime that a lot of us expected to win big. I don’t recall that.nanacat wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 10:03 amYes, it's the fans that tend towards being too confident.CodyCat wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 9:33 amI’ve never seen a Vigen coached team be to confident. I always forget this time of year you’ll get called cocky or overconfident when you state the cats should win big. Then the cats win big…… lol

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

It's possible all 4 Dakotas make the round of 8. Should be a slobberknocker in Missoula.

Yale has some injuries on the O-line and had difficulties with Youngstown's rush. So they are going to have a lot more difficulties with ours especially as Reno is not a dual threat QB. I think if they will need both their star WR (Brown) and DE (Larry) back to have a shot vs. us-- but there's a good chance that they will be available. We *should* be able to win comfortably, but as we saw yesterday, they won't give up just because they are down on the scoreboard.GoldstoneCat wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 7:10 amThere are 16 left and Yale is one of them, so no doubt they deserve our full attention. Other WR, I think Santiago, went out early 4th quarter. Took hard shot ,leg bent funny. If we play the griz I’ll expect to win by a couple touchdowns. If we play SDSU I’d expect us to win a hard fought game and win by a score. If we play NDSU I’d expect us to have to play near perfectly to win what would be a close game. We need to prove we can beat them before I predict we should!
Every other team I’ll expect to win big
