Flights to Nashville

Post by WalkOn79 » Mon Nov 24, 2025 3:48 pm

Getting way ahead of myself, but I think the airlines are using AI to catch on to events like the selection show. I went out and looked at flights on Sunday and the cheapest I found, Bozeman to Nashville were over $1,200 apiece!!! Didn't matter if I wanted to leave Wed, Thursday or Friday, or Return Monday or Tuesday. I'm going regardless, but I might consider driving the 27 hours!!! Heck at that rate, maybe privately charter a 14 seater and pay about the same?

Is there any talk about BQC charters yet?

Remember that the game is Monday night, so you might not want that Monday return trip.

I think lots of folks were probably looking into this yesterday, so you are probably correct that the algorithms saw a big uptick in searches and increased pricing.

I know I checked yesterday, and $1200 is what I found as well. Seems like you could charter for $1200.

This was my biggest problem with the game moving to Nashville. It was already very expensive to fly to Dallas, which is one of the largest hubs in the US. Nashville isn't a hub, and by definition will have fewer options, which will cause prices to increase

I booked mine in July out of god blessed great falls, and it was 730 base fare even then. Haven't looked lately.

There is some serious price manipulating going on by Delta. A comparable flight in December with Saturday departure and Wed return is around $350. And the flights still around the game weekend still have lots of seats. I am a capitalist and want companies making a profit, but price gouging when limited options are available is bad business. I did check for flights over a month ago and they were already that high.

Definitely not getting ahead of yourself. I have hotels and flights already booked. Just don't want to over pay when everyone is trying to book at halftime of the semi final game!

If you find anything reasonable... let me know. When I looked into it in 2021 the small jet charters started at $50,000.

Seats available on the online seat map doesn't necessarily mean that those seats haven't been sold yet. A lot of airlines sell a lower fare that doesn't include being able to select your seat at the time of booking, so anyone who bought that fare won't have an assigned seat until they check in. I'd guess that the flights out of Bozeman and heading to Nashville are in fact mostly full at this point.

I fly in and out of Nashville 3 or 4 times a year. Easiest is nonstop flight direct from Bozeman on Allegiant….but they do not have a January schedule as far as I can see. Wonder if they might add a flight.

If you don’t mind driving a bit you have a lot of options. Memphis, Louisville, Lexington are 3 hours. Chattanooga is 2 hours. Atlanta is 4 hours and there is a direct non-stop from Bozeman. Hell getting to an airport in parts of Montana not much different (except for TRAFFIC!)

We will probably take some time to tour and go to other city or cities like Atlanta or North Carolina….spend a week cavorting about. Stay with daughter and grandkids a few days.

Sounds like a fun trip to me!!!

We have relatives in Atlanta as well. That's probably not a bad option for us.

Nothing has changed. I got a quote for $58,000 so I guess that's off the table unless someone with deep pockets is looking for a passenger!!!

I saw a United flight that was around 900 as well as a southwest flight that was around 950. That was just a quick glance looking at Saturday to Tuesday.

I have family in Nashville and just about every time I fly there it's at least $700, so it's never cheap. I know Southwest and Allegiant can get you there a little cheaper usually, but lately Southwest hasn't been real cheap either.

I’d say, bite the bullet and book a seat on the charter when that becomes available.

Look at leaving around the 1st and the prices become much more palatable.

I concur. I took the charter to Frisco and it was great. No real delays, direct flight, transportation to the hotel, game, other events, and back to the airport. The hotel was nice too. I did some Ubering around Dallas on my own. I didn’t really have to worry about anything with the charter and the cost wasn’t that bad.

Allegiant typically runs $350 round trip for us but certainly no frills …nonstop works better for us.

Yes and I should say that's from Kalispell or Helena that I've flown out of, not Bozeman. Also I'm a Delta snob so that's on me.
