I'm hoping we get Yale in Bozeman. That would be fun!

Cats' likely path to Nashville: Youngstown or Yale, SFA or ACU, Montana or one of the South Dakota teams. I'll take it, could've been a lot worse!

Likely to be Youngstown. Just looking at their results, kind of a schizophrenic team. Pushed ndsu then nearly lost to northern Iowa yesterday. Only beat Indiana state by 19. Lost at home to sdsu. Got handled at UND. I think we'll be heavily favored but not a super easy draw.

The committee chair seems extremely nervous talking on the show. I would be too after the awful seeding.

6 from MVFC is bull especially with IVY getting an auto this year. UND should be out. Got some ranked wins but a lot of that is because conference always has 6-7 teams ranked. Get credit for 5 losses because they were close.

That’s wild, for sure. We’re finally seeing other conferences finally making a push and investing in their teams. It showed this year and yet, MVFC bias continues.

I would love to play one of the Ivy League teams so will be pulling for Yale, but would expect that Youngtown state will beat them.
Only advantage I see of playing in MVFC team is it helps us get ready for NDSU in the chipper.

Hard for those other leagues to improve when one gets 25% of bids only 13 at large available and they give 5 to one conference.

I like the bracket. I think um has a tougher bracket than the bobcats. I hope that um has to come to Bozeman. The Cats have a huge psychological advantage right now and a win would be even more pivital in the series. I can't emphasize enough how big of a win the game was yesterday.
SDSU has a good defense and winning yesterday on the road with a freshman QB is huge. If they get their hurt players back they are going to be a tough matchup for um.

I’d love to see the Cats beat the brakes off of an ivy school at home!

Odd that they’re questioning UC Davis at 8 and not Mercer at 7
Mercer is 9-1 vs the FCS and on a 9 game winning streak. 8-0 in the Southern. Davis is 8-3 and quite honestly shouldn't have even been in the top 8 discussion.
And then UC Davis gets a pretty easy draw as well for who they’ll have to play.
Massey has Davis at #7, so its not totally bonkers.

I really think the gris were OK with losing yesterday. I'm not saying it's a good strategy, but Hauck said after the game they played pretty simple on defense. I think they believed they'd get the 3 seed if they lost and wouldn't have to play NDSU until Nashville. Obviously they tried to win, but I have a hunch they didn't show everything they had yesterday. I think it's dumb and it'll backfire on them, but I don't think MSU got their best shot yesterday. Unfortunately for them, MSU didn't give their best shot yesterday either and still won in the "Mecca".
Nobody is "ok" losing cat/griz.
Yea this is an interesting take.
And by that I mean horrible.

Nobody is ok with losing to the hated rival, losing the conference title, and missing out on the opportunity to play at home until the national championship all because they think they have a better chance in the rematch on the road.
I guess Bobby thinks it is just another game

I'm not so sure about that. I'd much rather play Southern Utah or West Georgia or one of the other best non-qualifiers than UND.

The committee clearly thinks the Big Sky and MVFC are vastly better than any other FCS conference. And they probably aren't wrong.
