Felt like Ah Yat could throw 5-8 yard quick outs anytime he wanted. I was going crazy about the Cats making some sort of adjustment. Thoughts?
You can bring your corners up and press but then you risk a fast guy like Wortham beating you at the line and it's 6 points. Gotta trust your corners to react quickly and make a good tackle. Didn't seem like they tackled as well as usual today.

They played the catch great, just were going for kill shots instead of wrapping up the Griz receiver. At least to me, that’s what it looked like. Great thing is, these players are extremely coachable and will improve and grow from this game.

Cats did not want to get beat over the top, so they gave up those under routes.

Also, re-watching the 4th quarter, on Lamson’s TD run, he had Rocco wide open for a touchdown had he thrown the ball.

Yep. Not sure if Lamson saw it. It was a gimme.

I stood up in my living room and pointed at him on my TV and yelled “there, there” and being pissed when he pulled it down until 2 seconds later!

This feels like the happy ending version of Tommy's post-Frisco tunnel shot last year.

Hats off to Sterbick, I thought he called a really good game.
I would agree other than we seem to want to start games throwing. And, first drive after false start in red zone , you don't have to pass.
The one gripe I had was on the final drive where Lamson took that sack because we were in shotgun with no rb beside Lamson. If you're going to pass, at least make it a play action for how well we ran the ball.
I said same thing and RB can pick up blitz or chip and leak out.

And I thought Egriz was a circle jerk! Holy ****** ****** guys take off the blue and gold colored glasses. The refs were being very generous to MSU as well. Taco’s “catch” hit the ground but was upheld and many obvious late hits and personal fouls went uncalled. The Griz made mistakes and let the game out of hand, it was anyone’s game no matter what you may think. Seriously though I have never seen such a circle jerk outside of BisonNation

Vigen’s grin shows how heavy has been the weight of his back-mounted, dark-pink primate. I am happy to see it off of there. 🚫 🦧

I haven’t watched a ton of the griz but ah yah’s stats seemed good. After seeing him live I think he’s gonna be a good one. But if those dink and dunks are how he got those stats all year I’m not surprised. Especially late in the game I was loving those completions and watching the clock slowly tick away.

As an ex-coach, one thing we always preached on defense was to keep the ball carrier in the cup. An NDSU coach has a great video on this I used to show my players. It basically says you surround the ball carrier so you have a defender on each side of him and one in the front. Our secondary did a poor job of this. A great example of this is on Gillman’s long run down the sideline. Our DB lost outside leverage and he scored. Had he maintained leverage, Caden was there for the tackle. Our defense was doing that all day long. I think if we were to play them in a rematch, that would be cleaned up. That’s the worst our defense has looked since Oregon and we still won. I think it will be a wider margin if there’s a rematch. Check out this video. https://coachesinsider.com/football/pre ... a-st-univ/

Blah blah blah, BOTH teams were chippy and the refs let a lot of stuff go both ways. Regarding Taco's catch, the ball can touch the ground, so long as the receiver maintains control, and the ground didn't help in maintaining control. You wanna talk about that disputed catch.... What about the first TD catch for the gris? Wasn't reviewed at it darn sure looked like his heel touched white paint... BOTH teams made big mistakes. The Cats were able to overcome theirs and win.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

I thought the gris made a good in game adjustment after KAY got sacked back to back. All they did after that was run the quick routes and it worked.

Hating the griz since 02.

If anything is certain about this game, it will be the fans of the losing team will come out and say that the others teams fans and players are classless and if it's a close game, the refs were at fault.
