I'd guess the same impact that it had in 2022 when Gameday came to Bozeman...zero. It's a lot of fun for fans but on the field the better team on that day will win, just like always.

Would the fact that the FCS boasts 3 top teams, and then a big gap after that play a role in their decision? With SDSU in free fall, and UND not beating the bizon last week, the Montana schools might be the most interesting story line since it's for the Big Sky Championship plus the #2 seed. A 11-0, (cuz bobby will beat barney), vs. a 9-2, (assuming the Cats take care of business Saturday night), for all the marbles should bring enough hype, though FCS football, from my understanding, doesn't have the following and hype that FBS does.
