I think that catch by King was more likely to have been incomplete than the one by Steel. Oh well. Let's put that third down play back in the playbook and leave it there, even the guy he was trying to throw to was blanketed in the end zone.

I feel like Sterbick doesn’t read the room well as a coordinator, at least in some games. First series the Cats rocked it. The next 3? Not real great…No interior O-line push, rhythm is all over the place. It’s 10-0, but should look different at this point. Head scratcher to me…

UNC seems more vulnerable on the edge than up the middle, yet the 1st and 2nd down plays went right up the gut. Definitely not great playcalling although MSU can usually still manage to pound it in on those plays.

Cal Poly seemed to be very vulnerable on the edge as well and we took a long time to start exploiting it last week.

Lamson is not fast enough to get to the edge with out great blocking, so it’s easy for defenses to pin their ears back on our backs in the red zone. I’d like to see a red zone package with Chance.
