Was there any known reason as to why Julius Davis didn’t play at all in the second half?

Unsure, but with Jones looking the best he has since last season, maybe they just wanted to let the man cook and give Julius a half off going into the bye.

Third or Fourth offensive possession he had his right thumb heavily taped but he was still carrying the rock fine. After halftime, I think the game script played out to where we could probably just roll with Coon for the rest of the way and give Julius a break. No leg problems...that's the biggest worry for me so we're good if its just a sore thumb.

Coon seems to have taken on the roll of smothering the opponent after they've dragged them into the deep end. He's the pillow man!

Nothing recent at a presser. He was estimated as being (at least?) a couple weeks longer than Daily. So that would be Cal Poly.
