I see we scored on a Julius Davis TD pass reception. Anybody able to get a feed on tv?
I got it on Espn +
Is your audio feed choppy?
Mine is very choppy as well
Two weeks in a row with ESPN+ having technical issues…
Audio this year on the broadcasts have been bad. First few games I could hear the crowd and field noise but not the announcers. At least I can see it live verses the delayed broadcast on PBS back in the day.
I watched other games including Cornell @ Harvard. Audio was excellent on each one, as well as video. But week after week from Bobcat Stadium the audio is a ness ine way or another. Today it sounds like chopped salad. Until Grace Lawrence came on the sideline, at much greater volume. That volume continued back to the booth and some of the chop disappeared. The interference with the stadium announcer continued all game. Not so bad today, but Ben’s voice has been loud and Ty (true to life) has been almost too soft to hear. They really need customized setups for audio. The balance was better today, but audio was never clear.

I don’t think it’s ESPN+ since other schools are typically clear. I hope MSU can have someone sample the ESPN+ broadcast and clear up the audio issues.

The video and color were excellent today. Very fun to watch. I do wish the camera operator would zoom more when the play allows. I see that’s typical on other broadcasts.

And I love having the names on the jerseys. Cornell and Harvard looked too plain. Our uniform combo today was miles ahead of the Ivy looks. ‘Cats really look like an elite team on the field.
I agree on the zooming in. I flipped over to an SEC game and was like wow, I can see these guys faces. I understand the number and quality of cameras is much greater.

Patrick Duchien finally keeping the ball in the zone read game and showing off his wheels. Wilson is fast but Duchien isn't no slouch.
I loved his mesh/handoff action. Is was the best of any QB on the field today. He created that big TD path with good ball handling.

Pat was a slick high school QB who made a ton of plays with his legs. Very frustrating to watch him in garbage time in the minutes he's played this season prior to this game because he just looked very unsure of himself and more like a pocket passer than athlete. Things are starting to click obviously.

Vigen with some unintentional comedy at 5:11 (question/comment starts at 4:46): "Things are gonna happen...they might even score." Our D is so dominant that something as rare as the opponent scoring might happen.

Showing pressure on fourth down in overtime. They bring pressure. Lamson throws...Endzone! Caught! TOUCHDOWN!!! Taco Dowler!
And a kick away from a championship.
Here we go. Miles Sansted. Snap, hold, kick, Up, GOOOOD!! FOR A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

What? Did everyone go antelope and pheasant hunting today instead of watching the game? The game thread is onlyb7 pages?

Ad long as you had good rain gear the game was a blast. Alot of people left at half but then it barely rained in the 2nd half.

Nothing to complain about I guess.

I think a lot of people will say ISU has a bad run defense. I won’t say that it’s good but the Bengals held UM to 122 (3.8’) last week and UNC to 30 (1.1) the week before. MSU had 386 (7.6).

MSU - 17 team National Champions (most recent 2025); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

We scored 2 TDs on slants over the middle! Something I never thought possible last year!

It's funny watching the television broadcast and listening to Gregorak. Anyone that believes the players, coaches (opposing coaches too or their minions), and media don't read BN, is fooling themselves.

Funny, I thought the same thing, he was very outspoken about much of the stuff that is discussed game to game on this forum. Add that to Vigen’s “ What’s wrong with Adam jones” quote after the game yesterday and it’s pretty clear that these guys hear this stuff one way or another (although I’m sure Vigen isn’t reading BN, but this stuff is definitely relayed through QBC)

The Cats are getting better. I wouldn’t be surprised if they move ahead of the Griz in national rankings.

It has been inam a lot of new articles as well, so I'm sure Vigen gets those questions in those interviews and QBC because those boosters read it and think it as well

And those local and national news guys lurk here on BN. What better way to get the pulse of the fans and what they are excited and irked about. Granted, not all fans are on BN, but a whole lot of the most passionate ones are. I’ve seen a local sports writer accidentally re-post a mistake I made in the recruiting thread. Hero Sports also lurks here.
