keep your heads up
At least the Cat's were beat by a damn good team. Texas State (last years semi-finalist) lost to a Northern Colorado (yea Big Sky) and Delaware lost to Albany (ouch) -let's hope Delaware takes a hit to the pride and beats New Hampshire!
Cat's will improve, keep the faith, I really believe you will wins some big games this year, including Portland State (but not the Griz, sorry).

Krames will get them around - look for a major turnaround vs EWU next week, then watch out for a let down vs NAU, but then beat PSU yea crazy, BSC!!!GrizinWashington wrote:I agree. The last two weeks have been terrible losses, but I'm not ready to write the cats off yet. They always seem to play well late in the season. But if I were a cat fan, I might have some small concerns about whether this team is quitting on Krames.

Good point! If it's true that some players, or other personnel for that matter, are either quitting on Kramer or there are individuals undermining team morale, then the coaches need to clean house now rather than after the season. If they're not bashful about pulling scholarships from those that do not fit in based on skills and ability they should be even less bashful about dealing with team morale issues in a similar fashion. It may be painful and ugly for a bit, but the outcome might justify the pain.GrizinWashington wrote:I agree. The last two weeks have been terrible losses, but I'm not ready to write the cats off yet. Kramer hinted at something without elaborating in his interview with Kris Atteberry after the game so you might be on to something.

??Turner Brown wrote:That Bobby Daly kid is a STUD, the GRIZ really missed on this kid. The GRIZ offered him to walk on and seeing him play that was a complete insult. The Griz are 2 deep with Lbs. but i think Daly would have been our 3rd best Lb behind Joyce and Ryan. I think he is better than Utterback, and Utt is very good, so thats saying sumtin. I tend to think the better part of the cat team gave up yesterday, and the ones that gave up were not the MONTANA kids. I think Kramer needs to really get a nucleus of MONTANA kids to be starters for his team to be more consistant in all their games.

While I was harsh on you yesterday, I want to note that the bolded is my primary concern right no. I posted a longer version in another thread, but the short version is that the team quit in the second half yesterday. That concerns me immensely.GrizinWashington wrote:I agree. G, you weren't hard on me yesterday. We disagreed, that's all.PapaG wrote:While I was harsh on you yesterday, I want to note that the bolded is my primary concern right no. I hope the team isn't quitting on Krames, because I really respect the guy, and he deserves better. My honest opinion? The cats will make plenty of noise before the year's out.
