Some form of moving up depending on what the NCAA does in the upcoming future.

Re: Stadium Expansion News For East Side?
My penny and a half. A little info to start, I live about 100 miles east of Boise at this point. I have not been inside the Boise smurf turf stadium, but I was with friends at a tailgate once when I was flying out of Boise the next morning. A lot of those people in the stands, migrated to Boise from other states and are there as a social event. I don't have a clue who presently has a booth at MSU stadium but I can tell you the Idaho Dairy Association has a booth at BSU. I would think there must be business or organizations that would take a booth in the new MSU remodel. The new hotel on campus will be huge and having a roof top bar and lower bar will get us a step closer to having beer in the stadium, which will require more than a beer garden in the corner. So, with Bozeman's growth build it to hold 30,000+.
I also have a good friend that is an Alumni and huge booster for Oregon State. They recently went thru a remodel and expansion of one of the sides. It was a lot bigger than anything MSU will do so it shouldn't take as long. The OSU remodel took out one complete side for one season. I was lucky enough to have sat in seats in the side remodeled before the remodel as well as the same side after the remodel in an open box with TV, room to stand and walk around without bothering anyone in front or behind you, as well as access to the buffet and bar located under the higher seats. My recommendation is GO BIG OR GO HOME! Homecoming 2025 was great. I don't ever remember more people watching the parade or trying to watch the parade, I was near the R Bar and people on the north side were 8 to 10 deep. GO CATS GO!

That's the Eweu game plan. We can't be just stealing lame ideas from glorified d2 schools.coloradocat wrote: ↑Sun Sep 28, 2025 6:34 pmEvery year into the future is the coming years. Hopefully there's a little tighter of a timeline than that. I do expect that we'll do something in the stadium at some point in the future though so it's good to hear that it won't stay the same forever. Maybe they'll paint the end zone bleachers in a few years so they match the east side!
It would be hilarious if the real conspiracy is to keep making vague statements every 3-6 months so BN gets excited but nothing of note ever happens.![]()

I would hate to see a bunch of sky boxes go up for the ultra wealthy on the east side of the stadium, blocking out the view of the Bridger Mountains.
I prefer filling in the corners of the north end of the stadium. Something similar to the stadium that the Seattle Seahawks playi in.

lol well the bridgers are amazing but I just don’t think it’s that important to be able to see them from inside the football stadium.coachouert wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:50 amViewshed strikes again.iaafan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:49 amSeriously?aucat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:46 amI would hate to see a bunch of sky boxes go up for the ultra wealthy on the east side of the stadium, blocking out the view of the Bridger Mountains.

I've heard this point many times. And while I agree that Bridgers are spectacular, they are not what I'm looking at while I'm in a football game.iaafan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:55 amlol well the bridgers are amazing but I just don’t think it’s that important to be able to see them from inside the football stadium.coachouert wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:50 amViewshed strikes again.iaafan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:49 amSeriously?aucat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:46 amI would hate to see a bunch of sky boxes go up for the ultra wealthy on the east side of the stadium, blocking out the view of the Bridger Mountains.

I'd rather see more fans at the game than the Bridgers.Bobcat Sig wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 9:08 amI've heard this point many times. It also feels unrealistic to expect any significant (game changing?) expansion without corporate funding contingent on skyboxes.

Plenty of great mountain views still available from the tailgating lots! Sometimes I even go for a nice hike in the morning before the game.Bobcat Sig wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 9:08 amI've heard this point many times. Re: Stadium Expansion News For East Side?
We screwed that up in 1972 when we could have placed Reno H Sales stadium true north and south. There was room to do that at the time, IMO. and then we would all now have a view of the Bridgers over the BAC and we could have horseshoed in the rest of it.iaafan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:55 amlol well the bridgers are amazing but I just don’t think it’s that important to be able to see them from inside the football stadium.coachouert wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:50 amViewshed strikes again.iaafan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:49 amSeriously?aucat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:46 amI would hate to see a bunch of sky boxes go up for the ultra wealthy on the east side of the stadium, blocking out the view of the Bridger Mountains.

You're in luck, the game changing gift is going to shift the entire stadium so we can look at the mountains instead of the game!WalkOn79 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 9:57 amWe screwed that up in 1972 when we could have placed Reno H Sales stadium true north and south. I would be curious to see the actual number of students seeking tickets and the percentage of those getting tickets. I heard it is less than 25% which is embarrassing as an institution. I understand that the system is locking up when student tickets come online for sale because of the heavy demand.

Re: Stadium Expansion News For East Side?
Why is it embarrassing? 17000 students, 20000 stadium. Your not giving students more than 2500 or so because you lose revenue that funds the program.Cataholic wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 8:38 pmI would be curious to see the actual number of students seeking tickets and the percentage of those getting tickets.
