I’ve been as skeptical as anyone. But for me, who isn’t in the know, Tessmans comments were the first real statement made about this rumor. Costello back in July said the east side was a top priority in the new master plan. But, I thought Tessmans comments were more concrete. I interpreted them as we will actually see a stadium renovation in the new couple of years.

Short of an official announcement, this is solid proof that it exists and something will happen.

When the president of the university is having a planned interview on tv and makes a very clear comment about upcoming plans for the stadium that “the fans will like” or whatever his exact words were, I think it’s a fair bet something happens.

I want an official announcement as much as anyone, but I think we can move past the thought that this is all a rumor and made up. Clearly something is in the works.

I didn't hear anything about it, but then again, I didn't ask. But iltc doesn't say stuff like this if there isn't anything to it. Guessing a few i's and t's need to be dotted and crossed.

The prez interview was great. He’s a great representative for MSU. Loved it when he stopped mid sentence when King caught the long pass. He seems just as excited about MSU as Cruzado did.

Every year into the future is the coming years. Hopefully there's a little tighter of a timeline than that. I do expect that we'll do something in the stadium at some point in the future though so it's good to hear that it won't stay the same forever. Maybe they'll paint the end zone bleachers in a few years so they match the east side!

It would be hilarious if the real conspiracy is to keep making vague statements every 3-6 months so BN gets excited but nothing of note ever happens.
