I do think our best QBs are freshmen but they are not ready.

So true! He runs extremely similar to Tommy, just a wee bit slower. Watching the players though, they seem to really rally around him well. I will say, he’s tough as hell.

Nice first half for the Bobcats, 24-0 is nothing to sneeze at. More work on the OL run blocking and WR’s getting open would make it feel better but I’m not complaining on how the team has tightened down some things from the first two game.

San Diego has 11 rushes for -9 yards. If you eliminate the sacks, its still negative for their RBs. They have 67 total yards.

Julius Davis has 5 carries for 56 yards for 11.2 ypc.
Adam Jones has 9 carries for 13 yards for 1.4 ypc.
Justin Lamson has 6 carries for 21 yards for 3.5 ypc (if you take out his two sacks, he's at 8.5 ypc).

In all fairness to Jones, his best strength is his open field speed and his hitting the hole so fast. We haven’t had many holes for him to hit yet. If our oline can start opening up some holes again, he will look like himself.
