The Unofficial Unofficial Official Gameday Thread

Post by catscat » Sat Sep 06, 2025 2:00 pm

DMMDcats says it's bad juju not to have a Gameday thread.

The Jacks beat Sad Sac's by the whooping score of 20-3 at home. That's got a few Cats fans worried.

Oregon squeaked past the Cats 59-13. That's got a few Cat fans worried.

Some say this year's Cat team is better than last year's. While there will never be another Tommy, Lansom showed that against a tough Ducks team, he could engineer a credible passing game. Jackrabbits aren't Ducks so the passing game could be beyond just credible. With Davis and Jones back, Cats running game should be productive against any team not Oregon. An undoubtedly less than stellar Sac defense held the Jacks to 20. Cats can be expected easily be as good as Sac.

With the loss last week along with this being the Gold Rush game should have the Bobcats ready to have Jackrabbit for dinner and the Bobcat win will be for more than the 3 points many are predicting.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

Oregon has 2 TDs in 3 plays already against Oklahoma State and has the ball again. If I were a betting man they'd get my vote as this year's National Champion.

It’s sure making me feel quite a bit better about last week.

If Lamson and the Cats find their groove in tonight’s game against SDSU, watch out….. If they’re still struggling to establish an identity tonight and can’t put it together for a win, the next 6 weeks will allow them some grace to figure it out and finish strong. Big implications on tonight’s game, I think Lamson eats up his first dose of a rockin’ Bobcat stadium and the Cats show who they are…

Oklahoma State isn’t all that good for an FBS school anymore. And Oregon is elite. Man they’re fast.

Oklahoma State looks bad, but I think it still shows that last week was way more about Oregon being elite than us not being as good.

Will be interesting to see if both sides settle in here on the next few possessions
