SDSU Predication Thread

Post by MSU Toddler » Wed Sep 03, 2025 3:27 pm

I didn't see one yet, so here goes...

YOUR Montana State Fighting Bobcats - 31
Jacks - 20

No disrespect to SDSU as they are a top FCS team, but think the Cats will be on fire for Gold Rush.

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

A Little too close for comfort but the Cats win in a classic. 27-24.

I didn't get to watch the MSU/Oregon game. I did attend the SDSU/Sac St. game. I think SDSU will be a tough out at the end of the year, but right now the offense has some things to clean up and Bobcat stadium on Gold Rush is not the place to do that. The environment and all of the Jackrabbit turnover in the off season is going to be tough to overcome. The Rabbit D will keep things close. If the O cuts out the sloppiness, I'll take the Jacks 24-17. If the O doesn't finish drives, MSU by a few, maybe 17-14. Good luck and GO Jacks!

Cats 34 - Jacks 22

Run game gets rolling and the 5 yard pass game combines with it to steal the clock and drag them into deep water.

They had some miscues in the red zone and the kicker wasn't Vinatieri. Our offense will be tough to stop with the addition of some over the middle plays.

34 - 21 Cats

Gold Rush will be just enough to fuel the Cats to a win. It’ll be a squeaker, 31 - 27 Cats.

Perhaps I shouldn't be, but I was a bit disappointed with our performance at Oregon. We were totally dominated IMHO. I was not expecting to win, but also wasn't expecting to lose by 46. I thought we would put up a bit more of a fight. SDSU is a critical game. A loss at home to the Coyotes and a lot of doubts will set in. But we don't lose on Gold Rush. 38-21 us.

What's it going to take for people to realize that Oregon has a basically unlimited NIL budget and their team is STACKED with NFL talent. I didn't know that before the game - didn't realize Uncle Phil ponied up a ridiculous amount of cash - and even then, I still fully expected to get blown out. That's easily the most talented team MSU has faced this CENTURY, maybe ever. And yet the Cats made some plays, completed some passed, even had a TD drive. The only disappointment for me was the injuries sustained.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.
