Hey @CelticCat could you point out where I can find the Ducks podcast you went on? I searched "it never rains in autzen" and the only thing that shows up hasn't recorded new since 2020.

Emergency request:
@CelticCat Please make clipping @Common Cat's pronunciation of Taki U's name your first priority before the next podcast! That needs to be played every time you guys discuss the defense for the rest of the season.

It's late so you've probably already recorded but I'm wondering how you 3 are feeling about the no huddle offense.
I thought the Cats ran it well and without many mistakes in execution.

What, if anything, did we learn from the Sac State/SDSU matchup that is relevant to this week's game?

I'll just go with my chili plan from 2 years ago, mixing them. Grilled split dog on top of a hamburger.coloradocat wrote: ↑Fri Aug 29, 2025 11:40 amSign me up for a Thorndog!Common Cat wrote: ↑Tue Aug 19, 2025 4:57 pmThat’d be Thorny.coloradocat wrote: ↑Tue Aug 19, 2025 4:31 pmThey really need to answer this question because I'm sure one of them will say neither.blueandgoldblitz wrote: ↑Tue Aug 19, 2025 4:08 pmWhat is the best summertime grill item - hamburgers or hot dogs?
But in seriousness, hamburger all day! Although I prefer hamburgers cooked on a griddle or cast iron, and hot dogs boiled.

I'd imagine you're in the distinct minority with those preferences. I grill in the middle of winter because I detest skillet cooked beef...CelticCat wrote: ↑Wed Sep 03, 2025 10:48 amI'll just go with my chili plan from 2 years ago, mixing them. Worst take ever. Gimme a grilled dog over boiled every time. And honestly there are times where i prefer a couple dogs over a hamburger. Not kidding.CelticCat wrote: ↑Wed Sep 03, 2025 10:48 amI'll just go with my chili plan from 2 years ago, mixing them. I kick it old-school with my 25 year old Weber gas grill. It doesn't really cook on low any longer, so I don't really have to worry about keeping it warm enough...RickRund wrote: ↑Wed Sep 03, 2025 7:40 pmI got an insulated blanket for my PitBoss. Re: Golden Coolie Questions
I'm a big variety guy in life so yes I'll switch back and forth between foods and even preparation methods. Sometimes I want a boiled dog, sometimes grilled. I think boiled dogs are better if you are going to load them up with toppings. I don't want to be tearing through a tough skin if the dog is loaded up with chili, or relish, peppers and onions, etc. But if it's just ketchup and/or mustard, then yes give me that extra flavor from the char. But a coney dog for example is either boiled or steamed.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Wed Sep 03, 2025 5:09 pmWorst take ever. Gimme a grilled dog over boiled every time. I was going to do a brisket for Gold Rush but chili dogs sound amazing... onions? no onions? beans? no beans?
