They were early with o line injuries. But Oregon dominated statistically just couldn't score. 487-217 yardage advantage and 31-10 first downs. Score was deceiving

Which player on this year's defense are you most excited to watch?

As discussed in your podcasts and just about every other media forum, this year’s team will be the beginning of the ‘post Tommy era’ henceforth known as PT. The 2025 team seems to be embracing this with a ‘hold my beer’ attitude. Through player and coaching interviews ‘playing violent’ seems to be another mantra, do you believe that this years defense, despite its youth, be a more physical and chippy than what we are accustomed to?

Pick a season end MVP at the three levels on defense. Pick one from the D-line, linebackers (nickel), and DB's.

They really need to answer this question because I'm sure one of them will say neither.

Great Pod guys! I love the optimism from one person's opinion... "Cats will have the best defense in the FCS, by far."!

I want to believe and I do think we'll be damn good. That said, losing Grebe, Schmidt, Powdrell, Polidore, Ort, Johnson, Jackson, Woodard, Danny U, O'Reilly, I'm probably missing somebody. That is some talent right there.

? Are you saying we will have the best DL or what he said on the podcast? I just listened again and he said would be surprised if we didn't have best DEFENSE in the FCS, by far.

With the new ability for one player on the offense and one player on the defense to communicate on headsets with the sidelines, do we know which player on defense will have that role? If not, who do you think it will/should be?

Zack must have said that. I know I mentioned us having the best d line in the nation.

He's a current student (non-athlete), or possibly a recent grad at this point.
