That's funny. I happen to have a #16 MSU football jersey as well. While we are over a month out from Bobcat football we are less than 2 weeks from the Raiders first preseason game (thursday Aug 7th at 8pm vs Seahawks on NFL network). In the NFL the bulk of first 2 preseason games are played mostly by backups and rookies trying to make the team. 3rd one is the tune-up for the starters and they play into the second half and the 4th and final one is for the final roster decisions. I expect Tommy to get quite a bit of snaps in the first 2 to see what they have.

The NFL went to 3 preseason games a few years ago when they added the 17th regular season game.
