East-West shrine game
Who are the players to watch for tonight? I’m thinking about going to it, but it’s a classic windy day in Great Falls which may keep me home. Will definitely tune in on tv

Saw the highlights Oxarart (the one from Jefferson/Boulder) scored a rushing TD. Vigen threw a late INT at the goal line. Either the East or West won 14-7.

He's from up in my old neck of the woods (grass) and I've been hearing about him for the last couple years. He's definitely an intriguing prospect. Perfect frame and an excellent athlete. Being the next Jason Crebo/Troy Andersen type of player isn't out of the realm of possibilities. It's just a matter of having the right mindset and instincts. He's got all the tools.
When I saw his name in the article I was wondering if anyone was going to mention him. Then you did. I was wondering because he's the type of player that would stand out even if he wasn't scoring TDs or taking off on long runs, etc. Just the way he moves on the field could make him stand out.

Embry, Curnow, Claunch, Vigen, Downing, Springman, Winters, and Oxarart. Wirkus and Souza missed the photo.

Malta head coach Nick Oxarart was the head coach of the East. He said that Downing was the talk of his team's camp last week. Said he was curious how he would translate against non Class B players and he was very pleased.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 10:07 amHe's from up in my old neck of the woods (grass) and I've been hearing about him for the last couple years. Downing reminds me of another Malta beast - Lance Spencer, who played for the Griz in the early 2000s

Spence going to Missoula was a damn shame. The family was dyed in the wool bobcats, but Kramer told Lance his hips were too tight and he was too skinny to be a d end in the big sky. Wanted him to try and walk on, so he said screw it and went to Missoula. We all know how that turned out, still pissed about that one.Colter_Nuanez wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 2:32 pmMalta head coach Nick Oxarart was the head coach of the East.
