Was he a good coach for you guys? I ask because it looks like he is going to be our next special teams coordinator. Of course, him and Jason Eck coached together at Montana St.
Thought I would ask, even though I know that you guys have more important things on your mind right now.

I thought he was a phenomenal ST coach. I remember before he took over, our special teams were kind of a mess and they looked great after he took over. I would not mind him being our ST coach whatsoever

I was really confused wondering why he’d be coming back to MSU when I first read this.
Players loved him. Good coach.

Eeeesh, that doesn’t bode well for Eck. It seems every head coach De Prato has worked for has been fired.

He is an outstanding ST coach and positional coach. I was bummed when he left but he's going to continue to be a good one.
Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

GJ Kinne seems to be doing pretty well at Texas State. He seems destined for much larger things. I was lucky to know Coach Da Prato when he was at MSU and he was extremely friendly, people liked him and he seems good at being a coach. IMO, UNM should feel good about what he brings to them.

As others have stated, not only an excellent coach, but an even better person. Smart. Funny. Energetic. The players and other coaches loved him.

Oh, man! What a catch for you guys. Can’t say enough about Daniel, but wish he was still here. I think he was the last full-time special teams coach we had.

I thought that you guys might like to know - not only was he hired to coach special teams, but he is also going to be our Associate Head Coach. Should be a nice promotion for what sounds like a nice guy.

It is only a matter of time before he gets a chance to be the head guy somewhere. Congrats on getting a good dude!
