The griz have a lot more than 2 players leaving. Huot, Racanelli, Riley Wilson come to mind.

@Monymony thanks for compiling.

By my count, the Griz have lost 25/44 off of their 2-Deep. That number is probably going to tick up a little bit more. For better or worse, UM is going to be a dramatically different team next season.

It’s bizarre seeing that much turnover considering Hauck can coach there as long as he wants and won’t be leaving unless he’s fired, which won’t happen.

It’s one of the more stable coaching situation in all of FCS, yet they have a carousel at QB and can’t seem to recruit their lines anymore.

Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

What a ride

They can’t recruit because the head coach is neither happy nor hungry.

Hauck hasn't been able to figure out the recruiting piece in this second stint. It was masked by UM's dominance and the landscape of college football last go round.

Yep they lost basically all WRs and TEs. Then lost a ton of defensive starters. Bobby and company are realizing they need to get bigger up front and are offering tons of big transfer/high school guys. Not sure if that works out but they are trying to take a step in the right direction.

I think he tried to land a bunch of FBS drop downs last year and hoped they would work out. Most didn’t and now they are stuck relying on the portal to avoid having a really bad season. In my opinion they need to settle on a young QB, build a big OL, and get a nasty DL. That would allow them to run it as they have some great RBs and then they could develop the QB. Ultimately it will be really hard to have an awful season thanks to wa gris.

When I looked at their schedule about a week ago it seemed like there might be 3 losses at most so it would be a perfect time for a rebuilding year and still be able to glide into the playoffs.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

The portal becomes sort of the vicious cycle. When you rely on it, you're turning things over more frequently and you have less in the pipeline in terms of high school talent.

It does seem like they're going after fewer "one and done" transfers.

I thought I had heard a """rumor""" that Jaxton wanted to go elsewhere, not with dad...

Jaxton... lol

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Still missing Racanelli, the griz WR who jumped in the portal earlier this week.
