i wouldn't put stock into a dick measuring contest over pud south dakota. NDSU had that game won handily and messed up.. lessons were learned.
NDSU played #20 Colorado to last second, you barely beat 5-7 New Mexico
NDSU has a much tougher schedule in conference than the big fluffy schedule you got.
Montana States schedule has no one on it that punched you in the mouth, that includes the sissy ass grizzlies...
Funny, we had that game won handily and...won handily.

Ndsu didn’t have game won. They didn’t get up 28-17 until 4:10 to go. You got outplayed after that despite USD committing two penalties and taking a sack on the final drive and ndsu still couldn’t stop them.
After allowing the score to lose one of your players took one of the biggest cheap shots I’ve ever seen. Then he flopped onto the ground in a pathetic attempt to get out of it.
Ndsu only managed 3.5 per carry vs USD, while MSU got 4.8 despite playing with two <100% RBs and without its best RB.
No wonder you don’t want to use USD for a measuring stick.
You didn’t take Colorado to the wire. On the final drive you had no chance to score because your qb doesn’t have a strong enough arm to get the ball to the end zone. The only reason you got that much of a chance was because Deion was being Deion and ignored managing the clock.
Very astute of you to point out that no one has punched MSU in the mouth. No one would dare.

Yeah, funny how that works. MSU up 31-14 with over 20 minutes to play; wins 31-17. NDSU up 28-17 with 4 minutes to play; loses 29-28 and cheap shots opposing player on the game-losing play before flopping to try to get away with it. What a contrast in styles.

Testosterone-driven hubris aside, we all know NDSU is the gold standard in FCS unless you take a very, very short term view. This game is a toss up from my perspective and I know the Cats will be tested like they haven't been all year, including last Saturday. Who wins? Damn if I know. But I'll be there.

NDSU defense is NOT the NDSU defense we are used to, but they really stepped up last week.
NDSU should run the ball better with Marty Brown and Cam Miller , Obviously Bryce Lance has exploded this year.
I have a wild card, but I aint telling you guys!
MSU already beat the best MVC team.
Change my mind.

I don't think it's a toss up. I think you can throw a blanket over the 3 MVFC tri champs. They're all functionally the same. And we idled down in the second half and handled one of them pretty easily. I'd take us with the 3.5 in this game 10 times out of 10. They have been the gold standard for a decade, which ended when they beat us. Sdsu has been since 2022. Now we get to find out who is going forward.

That NDSU guy should have been expelled from school with that flop. Playing is a privilege and privileges can be revoked.

Two excuses for losing. I’d try and think some up but we don’t lose.
We will sort this out on the field so no need to justify your loss to a team we just handled. I’ll be celebrating our title in the 4th quarter long before the time runs out.

All due respect to the Bison, but they will be 5-7 point dogs in this one.
Cats just manhandled the MVFC co-champ, so its REALLY had to take the 'strength of schedule' argument seriously anymore.

Idaho lost to Oregon by 10 to start the season too, so what’s the point in comparing game 1 results. NDSU were rewarded with their schedule by getting the 2 seed, but if you’re going to downplay the cats schedule and then brag about how tough the MVFC is it doesn’t really make sense. Besides SDSU whose win is worth bragging about? Illinois State lost to UCD and USD beat a UCD team without Larison. The cats beat all those teams and UM beat MOST, so yes the big sky was down this year but overall you can’t sit there and say MVFC is tougher to get through based on this years results. Yes you got 2/3 top teams but other than that it’s not any tougher than the big sky.

Like NDSU paced themselves being down 35-23 to ETSU with 2 minutes to go?
Let me guess, the onside kick recovery was all part of the plan.
