Re: Friday Night
Still trying to find parking options and when I click on the game ticket link, I keep getting a message that the requested ticket item is not available. Did they sell out?

Re: Friday Night
Concerning parking: when we called yesterday to get our tickets they said we couldn't get parking at the same time and had to wait until tomorrow (today). I'm guessing the parking just isn't set up yet in the system for the game and will be available soon.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

I don't think that's what this is telling us, but I certainly HOPE it's close to a sellout!

Re: Friday Night
Yeah, not close to a sell out yet. It will be interesting to see after the tickets are released to the general public.

That and being on ESPN (the mothership) with no other games on is a huge recruiting tool for the program.
Either way, we are excited to be in the quarterfinals and look forward to a Bobcat Stadium party Friday night!! Go Cats!!"

I agree. I love night games. Realize it’s a bit of a challenge for those that have to travel especially. But I think you have to look at it like it’s Christmas!rfischer94 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 1:17 pmThis is a comment from Leon on FB responding to someone who was upset about a Friday night game.PHAT CAT wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 7:25 pmI live .9 miles from my driveway to the stadium and I'm pissed about a Friday night game. Re: Friday Night
I was just about to post this. This will be a game with ZERO competition for eyeballs. No other FBS, no NFL, not even another FCS going on at the same time. Even the NCAA basketball schedule is pretty bland. This is on ESPN. Not plus, not 2 or the ocho, the main channel. This game will be on the primary tv at every sports bar across the country. Now let’s help our Cats show the bleep out.rfischer94 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 1:17 pmThis is a comment from Leon on FB responding to someone who was upset about a Friday night game.PHAT CAT wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 7:25 pmI live .9 miles from my driveway to the stadium and I'm pissed about a Friday night game. I'll be interested to hear which recruits we sign specifically because our game is on Friday night and not Saturday afternoon (when there are two other nationally televised games). I'm also excited that ESPN is giving us more money for the Friday night game compared to a Saturday game.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 1:40 pmI was just about to post this. Wait, neither of those things is going to happen? Oh well, at least they love our environment.
I actually like the Friday night game and will be there loud and proud. I just don't appreciate the gaslighting from Leon. "Sure everyone's inconvenienced but that's really a good thing."

Re: Friday Night
Only game on vs other games. It is a good thing. Also Idaho had a late game and now has to play Friday while traveling, another advantage. It is inconvenient for some fans, but maybe others can now go that wouldn't on Sat.coloradocat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 2:01 pmI'll be interested to hear which recruits we sign specifically because our game is on Friday night and not Saturday afternoon (when there are two other nationally televised games). Re: Friday Night
Can someone explain the parking issue to me? When we received our passes and tailgate passes, they gave us three playoff game passes at the start of the year. They even say playoff game one, playoff game 2, and playoff game 3, so we didn’t have to renew any pass stuff, just the season tickets. Maybe everybody is talking about other parking passes?

Re: Friday Night
The Idaho schedule is really the only true advantage I see but even that just means they leave Friday morning instead of Friday afternoon so not a huge deal (I think their proximity is the primary reason we got the Friday night game).tetoncat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 2:05 pmOnly game on vs other games. The whole "only football game on in the country" is nice but it's being oversold. What are the actual tangible benefits to this? We don't get a larger payout, we won't get any recruits we otherwise wouldn't have, we won't suddenly attract new large donors. Maybe we get a handful of new out of state students to enroll but I could care less about that in the current state of the university.
Again, I like the Friday night game but that's largely because I won't have trouble attending and don't mind driving home afterwards in the middle of the night. Just not a fan of the idea that it's actually a good thing that it'll be harder for many fans to make it, leading to a smaller crowd.
I don't like it when people complain just to complain but I also don't like it when the complaints are valid and people come along and act like they don't matter because of some shiny object.

Re: Friday Night
I don’t think it really matters if the game is Friday night or Saturday. People that want to go are going to find a way to go. I get it can be hard but lot of people wouldn’t show up on Saturday because of obligations. I personally love the atmosphere of night games. So, to those that are able to show up……LETS MAKE SOME NOISE!!!

Re: Friday Night
These arent tailgate parking passes. MSU started charging for parking this year in all their lots. You must also purchase parking before you get to whatever lot you are going to park in. They send you a parking pass to your phone just like tickets.Hi-Line Bobcat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 2:13 pmCan someone explain the parking issue to me? Love the Friday night game and I'm happy we are on the flagship ESPN channel. The crowd WILL be absolutely nuts. It IS an advantage for the Cats that Idaho has to travel with one fewer day to prepare. Yes it's a bummer for the fans who can't make it.coloradocat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 2:01 pmI'll be interested to hear which recruits we sign specifically because our game is on Friday night and not Saturday afternoon (when there are two other nationally televised games). I fail to see any logic in your post. Leon made a good statement imo.
