Re: Friday Night
There are numerous hotels between Bozeman and Belgrade that are below $200 for Friday night. Not that that is super cheap but I was expecting to see everything around$400

Perfect, than nobody should have any excuses to not be there Friday night. Your boss will understand that you aren’t feeling well. Just make sure you wear a hat so they won’t notice you on TV.

Are you talking Montana? If so muzzleloader season is 12/14-12/22 this year. I'm in the same boat and need the smokepole to get some meat in the freezer.MinnesotaBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 10:35 amI was hoping they’d get the Friday night game. It’s the last weekend of muzzleloader season and I still need a deer. Now I don’t have to choose between heading out to the stand or watching the game!!

Most of my crew is already dropping out (old or has kids) but I'll be there and hopefully find a couple substitutions.
I'm not a fan of driving back to Billings in the middle of the night in December but the atmosphere for night playoff games is just generally better than day games. Yesterday was a lot of fun but expect next week to be better.

It's like back to the high school games. Drive all over the state on Friday nights to chase you kids.coloradocat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 11:43 amMost of my crew is already dropping out (old or has kids) but I'll be there and hopefully find a couple substitutions.

I completely agree. It was a joy to watch Tommy run that offense. He was in total control and the playcalling was insane. I would hate to be the DC who tries to figure out how to stop this offense. Also, the D continues to look stronger. This football organization--coaches, staff, players...are all so tuned in and focused. I am confident that we fans will do our part come Friday night and pack the place. It will be a raucous atmosphere.BFcatfan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 7:58 amIf we play the same game we played yesterday… we will crush their soul. In my opinion that was the most complete near perfection GAME we have played all year. I’ve been telling family members and fellow fans I know that if we stay reasonably healthy and play the game we played yesterday, NO ONE will beat us…we’re that focused and that good and most of all, that well coached!BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 3:13 amYup

Livingston Best Western Yellowstone Inn $49.00 a night + tax. Yeah, it’s 30 minutes away but if you’re coming and going from the east anyway not a bad deal.

I live .9 miles from my driveway to the stadium and I'm pissed about a Friday night game. It's damn hard for some of our best fans to make this happen. I'll do my best to yell my lungs out. But it's real BS to do this by the NCAA and ESPN. They both suck, IMHO. Go Cats!

2 of my 5 season ticket group are not going to be able to make it, because of it being on Friday. But for the 3 remaining we are bringing our wives plus my kid. I'll be online at 10am looking to get 2 extra tickets.

They have an outdoor practice field and they will use it all week. The Steamroller that is Bobcat football is what will affect them more.CodyCat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 8:26 amWeather will not affect Idaho.cat-o-nine wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 7:35 amCurrent forecast for Friday night is around 30 degrees to start, cooling down to 21 as the night goes on.
Idaho will struggle in the cold away from their temperature-controlled dome. Not a big fan of this scheduling tho. We'll be there regardless. Several fellow season ticket holders around us at yesterday's game were speculating this would be the schedule and none were in favor of it. Graduation is Friday morning. Hope some students and parents stick around to help fill the stands, otherwise it will be tough for a lot of out-of-town folks to make the trip after work. Overnight lodging in the area is going to be $$$$$.
Anyway, Go Cats!
The State of Montana is Bobcat country.
missoula....still just 20 miles from Montana.

Choose wisely however. Stayed there last fall when I came back for the game, and it was a railroaders dive…sticky floors, overflowing trash cans with beer cans on the floor, complementary mold in the bathrooms, and greasy carpets…no charge extra. All for just shy of $150/night for 2.

What do you boys use for a muzzleloader? I've been thinking of participating in the muzzy hunt.D-Wreck wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 11:41 amAre you talking Montana? Really?? I got home yesterday from the game and now have to turn around and go back this Friday and starting to feel like I am catching something. I am flying of course but still. I can' think of a reason someone can't make it. All about priorities.PHAT CAT wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 7:25 pmI live .9 miles from my driveway to the stadium and I'm pissed about a Friday night game. I now sit in 111 (4 seats). I used to have 2 seats in 104. My X-wife told me this joke about a guy who had 2 seats on the 50 yard line (me). He was at a game alone and some random guy asked if he could sit in the empty seat. The guy (me) said sure. When he asked how come the seat was empty I said it was my wife's seat, but she had passed away. He said doesn't one of your relatives want to come to the game. Yes, I said, but they are all at the funeral! PRIORITIES!

Just a reminder for folks talking about hotel prices that Airbnb can be a great route if you have a crew of people that come in for the game and usually can work out to be $250- $300 a weekend rather than a night! Obviously very dependent on the size of your crew.

I've got an old CVA percussion that I think my grandpa built possibly before I was born. I started shooting that particular rifle around 13/14 years old. It's a little easier for me to hold that barrel steady now though!lutecat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 8:03 amWhat do you boys use for a muzzleloader? I bought one of the Traditions Kentucky long rifle kits a few years ago because at the time it was the only kit that had buckhorn sights that was available. Tough to find time to work on that though chasing a 10 month old around the house. Track of the Wolf would be a good website to glance at.

The pre-sale (season ticket holds & bobcat club members) for fridays game should be at 10:30 right? Does anyone see it listed on the ticket website. Last week it was listed well ahead of time with a countdown to when it opened but I'm not seeing that yet, just the one at 1:00 for the general public.
