I didn’t see much accuracy from the Idaho QB. Looked more like ‘huck it down there and hope my guy can run under it’.
Ya they don't look like the same team they were in September. Really strange.

Current forecast for Friday night is around 30 degrees to start, cooling down to 21 as the night goes on.
Idaho will struggle in the cold away from their temperature-controlled dome. Not a big fan of this scheduling tho. We'll be there regardless. Several fellow season ticket holders around us at yesterday's game were speculating this would be the schedule and none were in favor of it. Graduation is Friday morning. Hope some students and parents stick around to help fill the stands, otherwise it will be tough for a lot of out-of-town folks to make the trip after work. Overnight lodging in the area is going to be $$$$$.
Anyway, Go Cats!
Weather will not affect Idaho.

We better sell that place out, fans better be back in for the start of the 3rd. This game is going to be insane. Idaho has their QB back, going to be looking for revenge. We need that place to be LOUD!!!
We win by 20+
Yup
If we play the same game we played yesterday… we will crush their soul. In my opinion that was the most complete near perfection GAME we have played all year. I’ve been telling family members and fellow fans I know that if we stay reasonably healthy and play the game we played yesterday, NO ONE will beat us…we’re that focused and that good and most of all, that well coached!

I will take it a step further-

That might be the most complete game I have seen in the last 25 years.

We should be able to have a sell out crowd for this one. Griz are done so there’s probably 5k fans that will switch from their maroon and silver and put on their blue and gold.

Not a fan of night games and there is no good reason to do them (other than to help offset the cost of the lights  ). It's colder, makes it much more difficult for fans to travel to/from, it's at the end of the day making it more difficult on the kids playing vs. early when they are fresh, it's one less day to prepare, etc..., etc.....

Just no good reason to do it.

Nope. I don't like it. Don't like it one bit.

The last Friday night playoff game was two years ago, I believe, against Bill and Mary and the crowd was decent.
Attendance was 14,367 according to the official box score. Not a sell out but it was definitely a great atmosphere especially after MSU got rolling and started the blowout.
That was an A+ crowd. So much fun.

Playoffs, especially night games are hard to draw a big crowd. Older folks don't like the cold. Hotels are ridiculously. expensive and hard to get for a fan base that travels all over the state to come support, hs basketball will be in full swing, especially at night. They will have to win this one without the noise In afraid.

Don't think the noise will be an issue. The playoff crowds especially the night game and Friday night crowds know how to bring the juice.

Yep. Don’t know how this always has to be discussed. It’s not the size of the crowd. It’s the volume of the ones that are there. The place is gonna be rocking. Apologies to anyone unable to make it. But those of us there are gonna bring it. Cats are gonna roll.

I watched the first half of our first game vs Idaho last night. I realize they didn't have their QB but the Cats were up 31-0 early in the third quarter. Their defense had no answer for our run game - I think we had 198 yards rushing at the half. I like this upcoming matchup. Here's a link to the game if you'd like to revisit it.

Motels in Livingston are 50-90 a night. Jump on it before they go up.

This is a good statement. We might not sell the place out Friday night, but the people that are there need to be in their seats and be loud as all get out. We need that place rocking for the full 60 minutes.

How about the NCAA moving the chipper in Frisco to a Monday night? What in the heck was wrong with a Saturday afternoon? I suppose the FBS has taken over that day. Last year I think it was on a Sunday morning and conflicted with some NFL games. A Monday night in Frisco in January could be in the 20s or 30s - might feel like a home game to the Cats. Don't like the idea of having it on a Monday night though. That's an extra day (or two) of travel, missing work, etc. Then again, should I really be that upset for missing work?

As previously stated the last night playoff game was Dec 9, 2022 vs bill & mary. 14,467 fans showed up and the house was rockin. I am expecting the same this Friday. Game time temp reported as 19. We’ll be fine.

I'm guessing we'll be the only football game on TV on Friday night? Competing with a bunch of basketball games. Should get a lot of eyeballs anyway.

I was hoping they’d get the Friday night game. It’s the last weekend of muzzleloader season and I still need a deer. Now I don’t have to choose between heading out to the stand or watching the game!!

Maybe the University should be asking the hotels to lower their prices to help accommodate the fans which would actually bring more people to stay. I have no problem driving home at 11:00 p.m. if it saves me $400. If rooms were like $120, I would probably stay.

It’s graduation plus a playoff game Friday. Unfortunately hotels would have zero incentive to lower prices, they will likely be near capacity regardless.

I’m paying $114 and $115 for Friday and Saturday nights. Dats Inn.
