Huge mistake today. Listened to the gris podcast for the first time. Ughh. Terrible. They said if you take out the 88 yard AJ run, the gris d held the Cats below their average. So...I went back and took out all the big plays the Cats through the season. Turns out our offense is just average. Idiot gris logic

I mean, they are not wrong. If you factor out all of the plays where the Cats scored, the gris would have won!

This was the common narrative of the Adrian Peterson years with the Vikings. Technically, the run game sucked if you take out Adrian's long runs because he also had a lot of negative and short gains during games. I call it Packers logic...

I mean...are these guys really going to force me to break down every run in that game? Okay fine I'll do it. Stay tuned!

(Full disclosure...thought the Griz defense had a good game plan defensively and played really hard which usually happens in rivalry games. It just wasn't enough and the talent level won out.)

I attended the game. Came home and watched the replay. Listening to the radio broadcast today, haha. It's going to be a long two weeks!

After rewatching the game on TV today, I will say that our O-line didn’t play as dominant of a game as I thought they did. Felt like we had a lot of run plays that they create holes like we have seen in the past. That said, it’s crazy that they may have not done as well today, but we still rolled to a fairly easy win.

I felt the Griz were up for the challenge right up until Jones broke that 88 yard run. After that, they were broken. Also, our pass pro was great. Griz defense played really hard after hearing all week how they would get slaughtered. In the end, we still go over 300 and win by 20+. Can't ask for much more.

And re-watching the game, our blocking scheme and running scheme were pretty simple without a lot of twists. We didn’t wanna show much on film. We didn’t need to do anything special to win. Just my opinion

When president Crusado was introduced and presented flowers in the north end zone the entire stadium gave her a standing ovation and that included the parent Griz fan section. Good on them for their standing and clapping though I wondered if they were just glad to see her go considering how much she advanced MSU while their school hasn't done nearly as well.

Did anyone else notice that the guy who caught up with Jones on his big run was Jaxon Lee? Lee was also the guy Jones ran into on both his TD runs. Both Lee and Jones went to Sentinel High School.

We will see. But yes, I don’t think they are going to make a run to the semi’s. Does that also mean that the refs would allow NDSU to throw defenders to the ground so they could score?
