So what’s the deal with Jared White? Has he just fallen out of favor or is he dealing with something injuries as well?

2 years ago he seemed like our next guy to take off at RB, then in comes Scottre and Davis last year and he fell down the depth chart, and now this year with the emergence of Jones and Coon he’s fallen even more. I was expecting him to get some carries yesterday after we were down our top 2 guys, but he didn’t get a touch.

Great question. He did play special teams so I assume he's healthy.

Really hope @Colter_Nuanez or Victor or one of the reporters will ask Vigen about him.

Decent chance you're right but there are several possible reasons a player might not have played last Saturday. That's why I originally asked the question.

You're right, I think I'm just having a hard time accepting it (that White got passed on the depth chart again). He's a really talented back and has been one of my favorite players to watch.

He’s never seemed quite as explosive as he was before his first injury. A shame. There’s a bevy of good backs on the roster.

Except that's not why. The reason Coon was playing is because of the style of play being used. Wanted to pound the ball up the middle and Coon is just better at that than White. If they wanted to work the edges and use a back out in the pass game out of the backfield, then White would've been the guy. MSU was set to run up the middle on every down in the second half and didn't want to overuse Jones.

Was there any update on Julius? Also, I wonder if we would ever see Ty McCullouch in the backfield as a running back? What about Marqui Johnson? I’m talking more like a play or two designed to use them back there to mix it up and cause some confusion. Not to be used like a normal running back.

Haven't hear anything about injuries whatsoever. Ya, Ty does the end around, sweep deals but never lined up as RB. Even if Julius AND Scottre can't go, I think we're fine with Jones, Coon, White, Henley... but I too was curious about Johnson, and Elliot. Probably injured I'd guess.

Jones and Henley split behind Mellott, both go to flat out of backfield. He can hit one of 2 split WR on outside, Rohan down seam, one of those 2 RB, or fake and run. Speed all over.

Yeah talked with him and his Dad briefly on Sunday and while there wasn't any in depth talk about the injury, he looked good to go and we had a good little laugh when someone said it wasn't his first rodeo and it wasn't going to be much of a problem He'll probably rub some dirt on it every day for a week and be good to go.

I was wondering the same thing!? I saw him go out and haven't seen or heard anything on it. I assume because its not big news, it's just a tweak that will get better with a week of rest. Hope to have all weapons on hand for a playoff run.

Was wearing a boot at selection show. Also was celebrating after thé win on the field and in the locker room. Its a sprain but he'll be good to go in two weeks.

So it's awesome to have this by for nicked up players to get healthy, and realistically we might be able to rest them from November 22nd to December 13th because I think our first game is going to be a mismatch and the Cats will blow them out of the water. I can think that way because I know the team won't, and I'm just a fan.

So all I want for Thanksgiving is to have Brode, Humphrey, Perk, Rohan Jones, Daily? close to 100% for the playoff run. May as well throw in Johnson, Elliot... anyone else nicked up that has a chance to return?
