After the way the Brawl went last year, this team better not take their foot off the gas until the goal posts are down on Main Street again.

Fife can be had...Just chase him off his "spot" and his a accuracy takes a hit. If they can generate as much pressure to Fife as they did to Hastings we will win comfortably.

And that shouldn’t be a problem at home given how bad the UM offensive line is.

They are bad. So is their defensive line. It's pretty striking to watch when we've all been used to physically dominant grizzly teams over the years.

PSU was consistently ripping off chunks against them in their own stadium. It was surreal.

The Cats have pretty much just rushed four guys all year but they brought the house repeatedly against UCD and reaked havoc. Also on offense we didn’t run anything at all creative i.e. reverses, fly sweeps, screens etc. What do you think they’ll do this week?

That was essentially what I said to my lady as we watched... like, I don't possess the skills to understand what I'm seeing here because I've not seen it. They've certainly lost games there and games they shouldn't but I don't remember a time in years past where they would just get physically manhandled by one of the second or third tier programs in the conference. They've got good players on their team but the trenches are not going to allow them to compete with the good teams at this level. We are going to dominate the line of scrimmage next week. Still think we don't punt.

Hero Sports has UM moving up to #3 after pulling off an absolutely dominating win over PSU, behind #1 NDSU and #2 SDSU. Cats dropped to #6 with both Davis and Idaho ranked above us. I mean, it wouldn’t surprise me.

Bobby hack is chasing down another historic gris record this week. He has the chance to tie Jack Swarthout for most Cat-gris losses by a gris head coach! Truly remarkable!

After losing the fourth quarter 20-0 last night I'm not expecting us to blow the griz out. I'm still not sure what happened to us last night. Was UC Davis that much better than us in the fourth quarter? Or did our coaches play it too close to the vest given our 30-8 lead? Our rushing game struggled and we were outgained in yardage. Also, this was the first game that Tommy couldn't break loose for a good run. So I'm kinda confused, but hoping for our rushing game to really show back up against the griz.

Did you watch the game? Have you read anything on here about the game?

I think you’re worrying about this too much. Everything that could go right for UC Davis went right, penalties and onside kick kept them in. This team will be fired up for how the 4th ended and how much everyone and their dog wants to discuss that vs us dominating the entire game minus 6 minutes in the 4th. Plus they all remember last years game against the Griz. Tommy had no need to run last night, they will beat the Griz soundly.

I was at the game last night and I really want to believe this. UCD had a really good run stopping defense, although I do believe that there is a pretty big difference between Humphrey and Elliot at this point. Tommy didn't run alot by design. But I absolutely think that the griz with Fife will be a handful for our defense. They seem to be really effective running those seam and slant routes for big gashes.

I am. The gris are NOT Davis. They have a terrible defense with just an OK offense. We have the #1 offense in the country and arguably the best defense in the country. We are 11-0 and playing at home. They are on the road with a bunch of guys who look like they've given up on the season and many of them despise their coach (can't blame them there).

It's going to be ugly.

That’s awesome you went to the game.

Eastern’s, UC Davis’ and UNM’s offenses are all statistically better than Griz. The truth is, the Griz just aren’t very good this year. Fife is better, however, the difference between the two of the Griz’s QB’s is not night and day either. I am not trying to sound cocky about our team, however, this game does not worry me as much as the last or EWU.

They relish the role of being the spoiler, as they have been before. Still scratching my head after last years performance with so much at stake, knowing they would be enraged after the 2022 game and College Gameday attention. The Cats had to have anticipated their rage, yet appeared discombobulated. You know they will be hyped coming into Bozeman. It’s going to be a slug fest and hopefully last years loss will be avenged. GO CATS !

Different Coordinators from last year. Expect vastly different result.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

All you need to know is Portland state was having no trouble gashing chunks in the run game yesterday. In missoula. When everyone knew it was coming. I'm sticking with we don't punt for the first 3 quarters.

Fortunately the Cats as a team have stayed focused and grounded on the 1-0 mentality. I don't expect overconfidence from them, compared to all the fans this week, haha. I think they'll approach this like any other game, but at the same time, it's always a big game. Beating UCD on the road and dealing with the end of the game adversity will well serve the team this week. At the same time, I'm not sure the griz won't come in overconfident after their 2 shutouts and the big comeback win over PSU, especially if Fife gets the start. Can't wait till Saturday! It'll be a long week.
