This isn't related to our game this week but it's Colter's thread so I figured it's as good a place as any to bring it up. He had Sam Herder on his show yesterday and the talked about the different scenarios for the griz. I don't understand how they're out if they lose the next two games but they're seeded if they beat PSU and lose to #2 MSU. Would a loss to PSU really move them from a top 16 (probably 10-12) to out completely? I think the committee will find a way to make an argument to slot them in at 23 or 24.
I agree. They are in no matter what.
I admit the committee always loves them, but they shouldn't be in if they lose these next 2. No other 7-5 team with losses to Weber, UND and PSU and no good wins would even sniff the playoffs. Not to mention ending on a 3 game losing streak.
By those metrics they don't deserve a seed if they beat PSU. That's where I see the disconnect. They can't get a seed if they beat PSU but miss out completely if they lose to them.
I totally agree. But am never shocked with committee's gris love. I suspect 15 or 16 if they beat PSU and lose to Cats. They get a Thanksgiving weekend home game and committee levels up on cash.

Granted they are a really strong opponent, good RB and probably better than average QB. The receiving corp looks to have good numbers. The Aggies can inflict some damage. They can put up some good stats...

The CATS have 6 (just to "name a few") RBs to spread out the numbers, some very quality runners. Maybe two with 100 yards, would three be a possibility. Tommy is much more dangerous in my opinion and the CATS receiving crew is excellent.

Defensively I am not worried at all. They may not toss a first half shutout but with the CATS ability to score there will not be a reason to.

This will be a great game. Even without my Blue and Gold glasses I think the CATS will keep their streak of 1-0 going.
