Making the drive from Billings to Bozeman and back even during night games is not very difficult. From my front door it’s 127 miles to the stadium. As Cat-o-nine and I were driving up we saw a few griz plates. It got me thinking about the hassle it must be to be a fan of theirs in eastern Montana as it’s not nearly as reasonable to make the 10+ hour round trip drive in one sitting.

Anyway, who here has the longest drive that regularly attends the games?
There was a story during the ESPN game against Idaho about those tailgaters from Eastern Montana that drive 500 miles one way to each Bobcat game.
That was me in the white Bobcat hockey sweater…

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

There's no way I can compete for distance travelled. But I think it's interesting that from my front door in Helena to Bobcat stadium is exactly 100.0 miles according to my truck odometer.

No kidding? Was that in the pre game or between quarters? I’d like to go find it.
yeah. they live in montana and that is the normal game commute.
Well I know that. I know a couple of folks from Plentywood. They are fantastic for a variety of reasons.
I know a few of those folks from Plentywood as I worked for gentleman from Antelope MT right out of High School. All very good people. I stop by their tailgate most games to say hi. My wife I travel 275 miles or 4+ hrs one way from Bigfork for every home game. We always come on Friday and leave on Sunday. My bucket list is to attend one away game at every BSC venue except Portland. I want nothing to do with that ****** hole city. I have Weber, Missoula, Idaho, EWash and soon to be UC Davis checked off my list. Hope to check the final 5 within the next few years. I've driven thru Pocatello, Flagstaff and Greeley in my life more than once, just have not been to game in those towns yet.

With success comes attention, with attention comes cockiness, with cockiness comes arrogance, with arrogance comes rudeness...and they wonder why I hate the Griz ! FTG

Don't believe everything you see on infotainment channels. Like any city; Portland has its struggles. You'd be missing out on some terrific scenery, food, and drink by skipping a PSU game. While I'll admit to some bias; you will have a far better time seeing things in and around Portland than you will in places like Spokane and Pocatello.

griz fans; keeping it classy and gracious in winning since ... well, never.
