He's not quite the same, it's only his 2nd game back, but two TDs is great motivation to keep improving.

Davis will get back to where he needs to be. Hey didn’t take too many snaps with the ones. Most reps were with the second team line.

Even with him not being back 100%, the way Davis ran through contact was different from the other guys.

The burst and suddenness isn't there yet. And scottre has established himself now. He's so explosive in the hole. Not breakaway fast but he's got burst through the line. Gonna be hard to take carries away from him.

Well dang-if the defense would have let them score 2 or 3 more touchdowns, maybe we could have worked on that rushing record. I think we could have rushed for more than 600 yards in this one without much trouble if we wanted to.

Was sitting first row behind the Bobcat bench at the 40 where the DBs sit. Tayden Gray and Jody Owens were screaming at each other after the Woodard sack and it was as intense as I’ve seen in a 35-0 game.

Jody was yelling “What the f*ck else do I need to do??!!” and then Gray started dropping n-bombs at full volume.

Not as fast? Not as strong? Not as shifty? Combo of one or more?
I just watched the replay and he made a couple cuts/moves that looked pretty good to me. Nine of his 15 carries were with the backup OL. Coon only had 20 yards on five carries with them.

According to the Records Watch thread it was #2 for rushing yards in a game behind the 2022 Cal Poly game, and tied for the most rushing TDs in a game with the 2023 Utah Tech game.

Not as explosive, jump cuts were slower, danced too much.

I didn’t notice Jared White get in at all. I understand he’s behind our three headed monster, but I feel like he still makes things happen when he gets in and he’s kind of been that first guy to get some carries when we start getting our subs in. Unless I missed it, looks like we went strait to Coon at that point.

The announcers said he was in, but I don't think he ever saw the ball.
