Eastern doing what we had to do with Chris Murray, Troy Andersen, and younger Tommy Mellott-when we couldn't throw it a lick. It's hard to stop I think. I'm hoping that's it. It's a scheme we're not used to defending and we'll be fine.

Go look at the schedules of past champions. They all had a road game where they didn't look like the best version of themselves. A team can be off any given Saturday. The fact we won on that Saturday shows we are championship caliber.

Tommy is by far the best player on any team. When the game is close, they let him loose. When the game is within 7+, they let the offense run. What a wonderful weapon.

I mean, they won a road game by 2 scores. IIRC the spread was 16, so EWU barely covered.

Made some mistakes, sure. If they make those mistakes against a DSU or Davis (and those teams play mistake free) of course not. But the chances of that are pretty slim.

I feel really good about this team heading into the home stretch. Davis should be a dogfight, but Cats should win by a TD. Cats will be more than competitive with either DSU when the visit Bozeman in the Semis.
